It wasn't meant to be an introduction, it was meant to be my first published collection of short stories! I can see why you'd be weirded out by an introduction which read:

It was probably unexpected because here on ILX I'm deeply misunderstood. And, oddly enough, those stories are all about people who are misunderstood too; people who are widely seen as monsters, but turn out to be childlike or saintlike instead. I guess it's what I respond to in Pierre et Gilles' work... and perhaps Jeff Koons' too.
