I couldn't find the intial thread ... it sounds similar to "Think Quick" (von Oswald Remix) -- the bassline mainly. Could it be the original? (is there an original?)

I think this is from the Skynet album (Tresor). Not sure which track, don't have the cd with me at the moment, but probably: Skyway or Sunterrainae.

I can't believe that 5 Orbital songs were named without a single reference to 'Out There Somewhere?', the single most tearjerking techno song I have personally ever heard. The last 4:50 alone is quite simply heartbreaking, beautiful, humbling and timeless.

Underworld's 'Juanita/Kiteless/To Dream Of Love' would also be up there.
