about glamour on n 3rd between berry and whyth is a really cool little japanesey store with cheap, cute dishware, stationary, prints, interesting clothes and a gallery in the back.

zebulon across from relish is cool if they want a drink and want to listen to free live music.

zenkichi on N 6th across from academy, is so excellent if they have money and want some black miso cod without going nobu or megu.

Stella ( i think that's the name) is a smaller beacon's closet type of deal on N.th 6 and havemayer right past enoteca wine bar.

DOC wine bar on n 6th and whyth has a really good cheese plate.

Yeah, I dunno, it seems pretty all right? Lack of closets inconvenient but that's why there are armoires and hanging racks -- actually yr average garment rack has more space than an NYC closet anyway. That price is too high for me, but if you think it's worth it, go ahead! The street harassment, well...it'll probably die down, plus of course take w/ salt but it never amounted to anything in my experience except my own frustration, so if you can handle it, or think you can learn to handle it, then no worries.

t i wish i could make it, it's so beautiful out and i just bought a bunch of spicy lamb sausage from the farmer's market. however i have a date with bathroom caulk/putty knife/unpacking boxes/touching up paint etc.
