Woman found guilty of plotting to sell Coke documents to Pepsi

February 2, 2007

After deliberating for 11 hours a jury found Joya Williams, now former Executive Administrative Assistant for Coka-Cola Inc., guilty of plotting to steal Coke's secrets to sell them to Pepsi Inc.

Williams, 41, took confidential documents and unreleased samples of products to Ibrahim Dimson and Edmund Duhaney in an attempt to sell the items to Pepsi for about US$1.5 million. Dimson and Duhaney also pleaded guilty.

Williams claimed in court that even though she brought the documents and unreleased samples to her home, Dimson and Duhaney went into her home and took them. Duhaney denied the statement and said Williams gave the documents and unreleased samples to them.

Coca-Cola, in May 2006, recieved a letter from Purchase, New York based company Pepsi. It was from a person, like Williams, offering samples and other confidential information.

The former secretary could face up to 10 years in prision.

Shaving Song
by Louis Jagger

Guess where I’m shaving

Close to the skin

That’s where I like to sail

Close to the wind

My middle name is danger

And I’m sure that you can see

That I’m the best of the best

And you’d rather be me…..

Guess what I’m using

Aftershave

For ‘tis the lotion

Of the strong and the brave

My chin is sleekly manly

And far more worthy than yours

‘Cos you’re a scruffy bastard

Who just won’t obey my laws…..

Oh for a white beard, lanky, sheepskin white beard

Oh for an old beard, I would give my ears

My ears, my ears, my ears,

My foam-encrusted ears……

she tells me he has since shaved the mustache. he had a beard from thanksgiving-recently, but i think he just grew it so he could shave it off and have a borat mustache for a few days.

this is better than the halloween costume, though, cause on halloween he wore a fake mustache and i gave him shit for it!

haha, i remember 'shaving song'! in my defence, however,

a) written when 16 = :-/
b) it's deliberately OTT/camp/whatever
c) all the poems in that collection are shite, the stuff i write nowadays doesn't even compare
d) it's meant to be a song lyric rather than a stand-alone poem

Jessie the Monster (scarymonsterrr), Sunday, 4 February 2007 01:59 (eighteen years ago)

remember what i said earlier about only biting when bitten? this applies to the noize board. i have NEVER posted here unless referenced. for you guys, a reference is generally an attack, and i'm not one to let such things go unchecked. i know i don't fit in so well HERE, but i'd say i have my fair share of allies elsewhere. i understand the noize board psyche, the intense and momentary outpouring of whatever emotion one happens to be feeling at any given time (coupled with a caustic, US-centred perspective upon life), and that's fair enough, but when it extends to besmirching someone you don't know two shitty tissues about (well, until you paid Google a little visit, and even then the evidence is highly limited), well, frankly a dude's gotta make a stand.

Why is it that when fucking someone of another culture, we feel the temptation to throw dominating politics into the sex? We feel it's kinky to say, "Oh yeah, 'taxation without representation,' I don't think so." Or, "That's right. We Americans will conquer you with our democratic ways...sexually if not economically." I think it was Shaun who told the Russian girl he was banging from behind, "Take it hard you Russian commie." Can you imagine if that were how diplomats handled world affairs? What if Condi Rice wore shorter denim skirts and fuck me boots.

I have a genius plan for a restaurant:

1) Build it where lots of drunk college kids might be found.

2) Keep it open late.

3) Have only a giant griddle and a giant deep fryer.

4) Stock all the frozen junk-food type stuff that you can - chicken strips, waffles, burger patties, sausage, french toast, jalapeno poppers, mozzerela sticks, breaded mushrooms, etc.

5) Provide ample sauces - ranch dressing, nacho cheese, salsa, maple syrup, chocolate sauce, etc.

6) Build it like a prison dining room, with bolted down seating, tile and stainless everything for easy spraying down with a hose and disinfectant. Sauces and such would be as vandal-proof as possible.

7) Allow people to buy stuff by the pound in some way - basically, you say "give me a waffle, with two chicken strips, ten breaded mushrooms, and some chili".

8) Customer then covers their food with whatever sauces they like.

9) The added bonus would be bins of crushed Doritos, potato chips, pretzels, etc. that could then be applied on top of the sauces for extra texture. These would be known as Crumblins™, which would be the name of the establishment. There would be a cute skunk with the same name as the mascot.

I was kind of fucked up with some friends when we came up with this but I think it would probably work. But it would be so not fun to have to run a place like this and deal with the drunk people every night until 4 am.

Both 22 years old, Kate St. Claire and Jane Mountain formed The Lollies at the start of 1999. The birth of The Lollies "was really painful," Jane remembers, "Kate was really drunk so she doesn’t remember what happened. There was a party and it was 2 days after New Year’s Eve. We wrote the hit single then." Kate concurs, "I don't remember starting The Lollies. I just woke up one day and Jane said, hey we started a band."

Gosford Park's got a lot more wit and energy than those other movies you mentioned, Eric -- and uses Helen Mirren to better effect.

Here's an interesting question: Following Paris Hilton until last year, the most important aspect of her name was Hilton. At least, that was the consensus - because she hadn't created anything that would distinguish her first name from her last (though she distinguished herself in other ways - but artistically, I don't think anyone thought about her as something other than a Hilton). But following the release of the album, with it's one word title, we now refer to her as merely Paris. Did she in fact transform in the terms of her art? If we talked about her cursing out Lohan, would we return to Hilton? Etc.

"It's pretty pathetic that she would do a song like this.

"I worked on half of her last CD and sold her millions of copies. Obviously, she cares more than I do that I didn't do this album.

"But I can't blame her, with an album full of fillers, over-singing and lame Vegas-like cabaret music."

1. Stylin
84 up, 7 down

This definition arose from the infamous Youtube between two battle rappers ENJ & NIKS. The guy who got punched in the face proclaimed, before he got dropped "Oh you mad cus im stylin' on you", hence forth it has been a powerful movement.

Some people claim it was first used by Biggie however, in the 21st century, it will always known as this.

Oh you mad cus im stylin on you
tags oh you mad cause im stylin on

Seriously, my fellow wymyn, this man was the bane of my life. This is a tragic tale of unrequited lust, ASBOs and Microsoft Pinball.

About ten years ago, my Great Aunt Wilhelmina died, which was kind of sad, but she was wadded and left most of it to me. I was unmarried and needed to bag a man pronto to stop the dirty dogs at the Revenue from taking my stash.

The man I chose was a part-time politics teacher at the least impressive college on the Isle Of Man, whom I met when he vomited on my shoes during a dinner party at the Micronesian ambassador's gaff. He was a pathetic runt of a man, puny of frame and diffident of disposition, but I have a hook nose and can't attract the movie-star type. Plus, he had two advantages - he didn't snore, and his moustache tickled my hare lip when we made out. He would do.

Little did I know that he was a desperate delusional who had read too much John Steinbeck and believed he lived in 1930s dustbowl California. He continually moaned about the poor dust harvest, and every time we went to Nando's he would call the waiter a 'mean hombre'. I suppose I should have seen it coming when he arrived late at our wedding wearing a stetson and six-inch cowboy heels, moaning about the job situation in Sacramento.

Still, at first the situation wasn't too bad, and I shall always treasure my memories of those sultry evenings when we would park his Morris Minor in the car park round the back of Lidl, and sit naked on the back seat discussing the relative merits of the Swiss system of devolved power as opposed to the traditional bicameral legislature, while I twirled his moustache with my little finger.

Then it started to go wrong. On our last trip to Nando's before the ban, he had just told the waiter to 'fetch me another brew compadre, or else I'll menace yo chica with my sixgun, kapeesh?' when the wiater, who was an IT student from Rio de Janeiro earning some holiday money and hadn't understood a word, nonetheless objected to Williams waving his 'dust shovel' in front of the other diners, and informed the police, who promptly issued an ASBO and a control order.

One of the manifestations of his delusional reality was that he needed to play era-appropriate games such as horseshoes, where the competitors have to get a horseshoe over a stake in the ground. Living as we did in the middle of Romford, horseshoes were hard to come by, and so he would break his curfew by sneaking to a farm to steal them. One night, the farmer set a trap, and about three hundred jobbing Polish immigrants ran at him waving machetes, which must have been deeply disturbing. However, worse was yet to come, as as he turned to flee, one immigrant fellow, who happened to bear an uncanny resemblance in both appearance and aspect to John Malkovich as Lenny in 'Of Mice And Men', emerged from the bushes with a squawking chicken perched upon the end of his penis.

The combination of these events turned him into a gibbering wreck. He became a pale shadow of his former self, and since his former self had been a pale shadow of an adeqaute husband, things had gotten desperate. He took to his study and devoted his life to writing a book on the philosophy of Microsoft Pinball.

One day he emerged to suggest that I swap places with Edith Brownshaw, the head bitch at the Wymyn's Institute. Edith Brownshaw is a crouching weasel of a woman who isn't even any good at cross-stitch, and I don't care if she finds out I said that.

As you can imagine, I was mortified, but the final straw came when I discovered that he had sent the Brownshaw skank an email asking her if she could send him some photos of her posing in her control-top stockings.

Well, that was it. I used most of Wilhelmina's wad on securing a top-spec lawyer who took him for all he was worth, and last time I saw him, he claimed he was living 'on the lam', which later transpired was his code for admitting he was now an itinerant sheep-nit picker.

FIRST off i dont wanna seem like a no it all.. but umm everyone in the music industry knows that tupac is alive....

black haze is in fact tupac..... the reason this man had set such obvious clues.. is because pac is a smart nigga and he wants everyone to say exactly what alot of ppl on this page are saying " well that exit makavelli enter black haze is too upfront , It cant be him its sumone that wished they were him" A DUH PPL! ... further more .. if you want facual evidence .. just listen to the tracks.. lolz.. Elvis is not a complexity to impersonate.. No one can impersonate pac..

and if you listen to his voice on these song you'll notice .. that his voice is a little more scratchy and he Takes deeper harder breathes.... That because that shootin on the vegas strip did in fact go down .. he was hit in a lung and in the right side of his throat with 2 of the shots he took.. this fucked him up... He didnt wanna return to the game either .. cause he had haD IT.. all pac ever wanted was to get money.. he never cared about the fame.. he wanted money becuase he hated poverty.. He didnt wanna see his family suffer the way he did.... see everyone forgets .. this man was stressing from the fame guys .. he wanted out .. He almost offed himself outta anguish from all the emenmies he made during his rise to fame..

.. just listen to the tracks guys ... try to think like him yo..... of coarse hes gonna set those obvious clues... Hes wants the mystery to live on.. and he knew that , .. That would make ppl disagree wit on another..

Okay - my hamster just died, Some asshole hit my car while it was parked on the street - oh, and last night I was doing laundry and I was so excited because I found a wet $20 bill in the washer I put it dryer, left it in there overnight (community laundry - this morning I figured out that the 20 I found in the wash was part of the 120 I took out of the bank and stuffed in my pocket and so looked in the dryer hoping to find the other 100 - fucking neighbors....so your rejection is just perfectly timed - at least it wasnt buzzkill -
Anyway, the hamster, the car, even the missing money - those things suck, but, I don't take them too personaly - I was the only one who answered the questions and got rejected - and there is no justice in the world - "just us" - not me - bad things always happen to good people - maybe I was just a huge asshole in a past life - anyway, I feel a little better after all this typing - I dont quite have it in me to go through the formality of answering all your oh so meaningful questions again - but I'll give you the truth this time..not that it was all bullshit - my name is susan, I fucking hate los angeles (I'm sick of ferraris, fake boobs, stupid people and constant fucking sunshine - I miss the east coast) I could care less about defining rockism - Wikipedia has it all but does that word really exist? I guess so but it will be in my vocab - I suppose its the equivalent of me saying "that rocks" - but I don't really know what that means - I'm a great scrabble player but I'm no fucking Webster Dictionary - so I bullshit - I apologize - moving on I have no favorite picture of Cat Power - Do most people have a favorite picture of anyone - I don't even have a favorite pictue of my mom - but whatever - I've even include bonus pic of fiona apple and yours truly - please no neg comments about it (dont be mean) - I just want you know the face of whom you're crushing. Moving on , I also don't care to write an essay on Deerhoof or Steven whatever his name is but I do have a CD from both artists in my itunes library and if I had to delete one I'd delete Deerhoof - Ideally I'd keep one song from each - the rest of the songs are probably taking up space that could be better utilized - but ayway, my only sincere regret is that I lied about the albums "that others have successfully downloaded from you in the past week" - and I think its an invasive question but, I guess oink can ask whatever they want - I'm a heterosexual female, I speak only one language (really) but I can say hello in several - I think yellow might be my favorite color and I'm not sure what I want to be when I grow up - I went to catholic school - I'm not a practicing catholic - I believe in something? - and I feel feel guilty eating pasta and donuts - but I think I like pasta - I'm not so sure sure about donuts - the last three CDs downloaded from me: Neil Young, Dire Straits and Alanis Morissette...I just want one invite - I won't bother you again

I think the top/bottom is symptomatic of fetishisation of the body as a separate collection of parts rather than as an organic whole. That's fine if you're after casual sex, but if you're actually interested in the person it can be pretty unrewarding. The whole active/passive thing is gay sex observed through heterosexual eyes. The fact that many gay men still perceive it in such a manner shows how strong the socialisation and normalisation of heterosexual roles in our upbringing is..

*phew* hand me a queer theory textbook someone, I need to fan myself down.

George Chen {press@alternativetentacles.com}

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GREEDY ex-DKs OK SONG FOR RAPE SCENE IN NEW TARANTINO MOVIE

East Bay Ray and Co. have gone ahead and cleared a cover version of
Dead Kennedys' "Too Drunk to Fuck" for a brutal scene in Grindhouse, a
'double-feature' directed by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.
This is their lowest point since Levi's. I Like some of Tarnatino's
work, another place in the film might have been fine. But this goes
against everything the Dead Kennedys stands for in spades.
The scene is actually in the "Planet Terror" film directed by
Rodriguez. Tarantino himself is pointing a gun at a disabled amputee
woman's head yelling "Dance, Bitch!" as the Nouvelle Vague cover of
"Too Drunk to Fuck" plays from a boombox. The terrified woman later
"wins" by killing Tarantino, but that excuse does not rescue this at
all. I wrote every note of that song and this is not what it was meant
for.
Some people will do anything for money. I can't help but think back to
how prudish Klaus Flouride was when he objected to H.R. Giger's
painting on the "Frankenstien" poster, saying he couldn't bear to show
it to his parents. I'd sure love to be a fly on the wall when he tries
to explain putting a song in a rape scene for money to his teenage
daughter.
The deal was pushed through by a new business manager the other three
hired, Kevin Raleigh of Associated Talent Management in Hollywood
(atmlosangeles.com).

I thought:

Someone should write a "TUOMAS Your Own Adventure."

You are faced with a howling Yeti. To your left is a steep cliff face, and to your right is a river of molten lava. Wolves are circling behind you.

DO YOU:
show it a naked picture of yourself (p. 27)
ask it what a "Sanford and Son" is (p.34)
masturbate in front of a baby (p.12)

Thailand: Videos No Inspiration for Novice Pandas

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Published: April 3, 2007

The Chiang Mai Zoo in northern Thailand resorted to artificially inseminating its sole female panda, Lin Hui, after failing to stimulate amour between her and her cage-mate, Chuang Chuang, another panda on loan from China, by showing them videos of pandas having sex. “He just didn’t want to mate,” said Sophon Dummui, who oversees the country’s zoos. “He was looking at her as a friend.”

Miscellaneous: When Rocky looks in the carnival mirror it alters his deformed face to appear almost normal. They send for his mother (Cher) to look at him. The same mirror that altered Rocky's face to appear normal should have deformed his mother's face. But when you see them looking in the mirror Cher's face is looking perfect.

There are a lot of ILM sacred cows I'm not familiar with at all, and the majority of them seem to be part of this British/Anglophile indie thing, which has never meant anything to me. I think it's kinda weird to assume everyone knows these artists, unless they've had international chart hits. I mean, I wouldn't say to some indie heads, "You don't know Carl Graig?! You're so ignorant!"

Indie Kids best (est) friend Fee is very sad because her cat was run over. So, she goes all out to ‘cheer up Fee’ – but what Indie Kid hasn’t got yet is that Fee needs sometime to be glum and grieve for her cat.

A great book for helping children understand death and loss and why it’s OK to be sad and how you can get through it.

Wait... am I approved? Who is this RichyGtwo guy?

-- RichyG, Saturday, April 14, 2007 10:02 PM (Yesterday)

I would just like to say that I posted on this site long ago and I never received any response.

-- tohms19, Saturday, April 14, 2007 10:13 PM (Yesterday)

I have looked through this thread and I didn't see any other post by "RichyGtwo"
Unless I am wrong, and it really does not seem so, someone noticed my email did not register and took advantage of it by replication my username and giving a different email. MY email is RichyGee (at) gmail (dot) com.

I am sorry for this inconvenience and I am in no way trying to obtain multiple invites. Maybe cross referencing IP Adress' can confirm that RichyGtwo is an imposter. However this is me, from the original account from which the application was submitted. I put a good bit of effort into getting in to OiNK and it is very disturbing seeing someone else try to steal from me. Once again, I'm sorry for this inconvenience and I would greatly appreciate some aid.

-- RichyG, Saturday, April 14, 2007 10:40 PM (Yesterday)

Oink Team,

I would just like to say thank you for the invite, it is a privilege to be a part of your community. There is so much incredible music here -- but really at the end of it all it's about people and the connections we make.

Infinite Thanks,
RichyG

-- RichyGtwo, Saturday, April 14, 2007 10:41 PM (Yesterday)

Whoa,

What the hell is going on? Please ban fake RichyG, he is trying to steal my invite, which I've already used anyway.

Please don't besmirch my good name.

Highest Regards,
RichyG

-- RichyGtwo, Saturday, April 14, 2007 10:42 PM (Yesterday)

Why are you doing this...? Please OiNK Admin, there has to be some way to justify that this is actually me. Why would I make a whole new account on this message board to correct my email anyway? Why not just use the one I already have anyway. Look you can tell there is a different person in each account just by the syntax and sentence structure. For example, RichyGtwo has used words such as "hell" and "damn" which aren't vulgar words themselves, but just more aggressive. I have used no such words in my own posts. RichyGtwo is also using a more formal "letter-like" method of speech, which I have not done as well.
Please, please, don't ban me. I can verify that this is genuinely me.

-- RichyG, Saturday, April 14, 2007 10:55 PM (Yesterday)

Well met good sir,

I also can verify that this is genuinely me. But I will not plead my case like a bleating lamb. For only the Oink Administrators have the wisdom of Solomon.

-- RichyGtwo, Saturday, April 14, 2007 10:58 PM (Yesterday)

Alright we will leave this up to the OiNK admins. I would appreciate you not calling me a bleating lamb. I have every right to be furious at you and insult you but I am refraining, I would like you to show me the same respect. I am arguing for something I care for

from the gun control thread, on heavier regulations of guns:

I'm against that because it's degrading. I'm also against having to take off my shoes and belt at the airport, but perhaps that's for another thread.

Where I live, and in most places, you'll have a very hard time buying a gun if you're a convicted felon or if you've ever been charged with domestic violence. I'm okay with that. I'm reluctant to give an inch, but common sense has to prevail now and again.

Anything beyond that, even well-intentioned, is a slippery slope.

The New Daisy Theater is a pretty neat music venue that used to be a movie theater. The sloped floor where the seats used to be (with little platforms here and there) means that you can stand wherever you like and see the band.

The balcony rocks, too.
