I also have been craving pork pies, which signifies the start of my spiralling into a festive binge of lard and more lard and booze and some lard. I am just managing to stave off my craving for green vegetables, but I'm sure my current diet means it's just around the corner.
So what about you? What do you crave?

When in doubt, it's time to make breakfast, always. Grits, eggs, bacon or sausage, toast or biscuits. Sometimes an omelette. Sometimes hot cereal (oatmeal or cream of wheat) with dried fruit in it.

This amazing chicken dish I used to get at an Indian place in NJ. It was sort of like Chicken Tikka, chicken breast rubbed in spices and stuff, but I think they used cilantro and mint because it was neon green on the outside. So good.

Janssen's temptation, anything with anchovies, cheese as I rarely eat it due to migraines. Chocolate for the same reason. Chips, roast potatoes, lamb chops. Smoked haddock and smoked meat or fish generally, Irish sausages, soda bread. Deboned chicken which I grill myself with few different ways of seasoning. Tinned fish or shellfish in all its forms. Rocket with everything.
― I see what this is (Local Garda), Thursday, 3 March 2011 07:08 (fourteen years ago)
all i ever want to eat is baguette and cheese. or bread in general. when i was a kid i used to tell my parents that i "wanted to go to jail" because my conception of jail came from pulp fantasy novels and i thought they just like tossed A RUDE HUNK OF BREAD through the bars.

Poutine! To me, it's pretty much the epitome of the deliciousness=non-nutritiousness axiom. I'd happily eat it three days a week if it wasn't so unhealthy for me. As it is, I rationalize that "once a week is fine", but I suspect that even that's too often.
