it was from an old school friend who i'd just thought about recently for the first time in years because i saw 'annie hall', and she's just like annie hall. so she's in derry staying with her father and has been travelling around europe. this was a christmas card and a postcard but the main reason she sent it was to send me a photograph of my exact overseas double!

"hi minna, i know this is weird, but i couldn't resist sending you this photo of someone who looks a lot like you. i can't remember her name but she's from armenia and she was sleeping in the same frankfurt hostel as me. i think she's your overseas double (you know how everyone has an overseas double)."

haha i could also go on to include the bit about how she was extremely nice just like me but i won't

but yeah...

well yes, it's odd... the seperate parts are all familiar looking - similar eyes, eyebrows, face shape, hair, nose...
but her mouth is a bit bigger than mine, her ear lobes are thicker and she's fatter, with broader shoulders. i can totally see how she looks like me yet the sum of the parts produces a completely different whole. she could be a cousin though or maybe even a sister.
