*FAP Tonight in Toronto?*

I have no plans and don't want to start working again.

Is this the shortest notice for a potential FAP ever?

sundar subramanian (sundar), Sunday, 2 February 2003 20:28 (twenty-two years ago)

It certainly is short notice! Unfortunately, I can't get away tonight since dinner is already in the worx (defrosting on the counter at any rate). Sometime really soon would be good though.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 2 February 2003 20:48 (twenty-two years ago)

How about 2 weeks from tonight when I'm there?

Bryan (Bryan), Sunday, 2 February 2003 20:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Bryan - I think that's definitely the plan. Sean was mentioning it on Friday, anyway. Actually, I REALLY hate to miss any of the "hott fap action" but if the Saturday of that weekend (the 15th) is better for everyone else, you guys should probably still have it then. I know I said I probably can't make it out that night, but no need to move it to a Sunday just for me.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Nope, I think we're gonna be doing something else on the Saturday. It'll have to be either the Sunday or Monday or nuthin'.

Bryan (Bryan), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Ok well then, I guess I'll be there!

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I'll be expecting homemade valentines from all of you.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Do you think it's necessary to have a new thread devoted to this FAP? While I wouldn't be surprised if no one wanted to go due to the fact that I will be there, I wouldn't want it to actually be because of no one knowing about it.

Bryan (Bryan), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:24 (twenty-two years ago)

If we post enough chatter to this one to keep it in new answers, I'm sure all the T.O. kids will read it eventually.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Ok.

Bryan (Bryan), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:35 (twenty-two years ago)

And yes I know no one will want to come if I'm there if I keep saying crap like "no one will want to come if I'm there"! It's gonna be fun! I'm pretty crazy after a pint or two! It's going to be really hard for me not to tell funny Sean Carruthers stories!

Bryan (Bryan), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Ok, I am SO there.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Does anyone else feel like going for a drink tonight? I think Wavelength is doing a more indie-oriented thing tonight. I'll be on my best behaviour this time, honest.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Sunday, 2 February 2003 21:55 (twenty-two years ago)

And I'm always up for funny Sean C stories but I'm not sure yet if I'll be in town then.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Sunday, 2 February 2003 22:47 (twenty-two years ago)

That would suck.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 February 2003 03:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Okay, maybe I'm going to skip out on Bryan FAP.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Monday, 3 February 2003 05:12 (twenty-two years ago)

then it would be up to me to tell funny sean c stories. and sean, you don't want that happening. no one does.

dyson (dyson), Monday, 3 February 2003 05:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh come on Sean! I'll be nice. There really isn't that much to tell anyway **snickers!**. As if you wouldn't be able to make fun of me equally badly. I think we'll get along grebt, dyson.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 February 2003 15:23 (twenty-two years ago)

And you have to come! Otherwise I won't know where the fuck I'm going. And if I say too much you can always sick your psycho cat on my head later. This picture of my brother and my cousin Derek should cheer you up:

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 February 2003 15:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Do you have stories of Sean C's sexy ass for Kim?

Sundar you should have procrastinated the Wavelength way.

That reminds me, they got their 3rd year aniversary thingy happening 15ish so that Thursday is DMST, Rocket's Red Glare and others at Lee's. Which brings me to my next complaint is why didnt anyone tell me that the E[l]Mo has reopenned as a 1 floor venue?

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 3 February 2003 15:39 (twenty-two years ago)

I've spent more than a third of my life avoiding thoughts of Sean's ass.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 February 2003 15:41 (twenty-two years ago)

The other two thirds have been spent obsessing over it.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 3 February 2003 15:52 (twenty-two years ago)

that's what I was pondering.
Im watching numbers run up across a screen.
Boy, work doesn't get more exciting than this.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 3 February 2003 15:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Sean does have an awfully nice tight set o' bunz.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 February 2003 15:57 (twenty-two years ago)

I guess I walked right into that one.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 February 2003 15:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Please don't walk into my bunz.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Monday, 3 February 2003 16:04 (twenty-two years ago)

HAR HAR. That's enough of that. Let's save it for the 15th.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 February 2003 16:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Toronto ASSFAP!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 3 February 2003 16:18 (twenty-two years ago)

RATS! The FAP is the 16th, not the 15th!

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 February 2003 16:41 (twenty-two years ago)

$394 USD for you to come up for the FAP, Ned.

Bryan (Bryan), Monday, 3 February 2003 16:43 (twenty-two years ago)

oh no Sean's Ass Vs Ally's Ass FITE oh no!

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 3 February 2003 16:45 (twenty-two years ago)

$394 USD for you to come up for the FAP, Ned.

Ever so tempting, I admit!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 3 February 2003 16:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Just think the 13-16th is Wavelength mini festival and the last weekend of the month is CMW, which should probably have something worth seeing, I hope.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 3 February 2003 17:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Ok, what the hell is going on in here? Jeez.

Kim (Kim), Monday, 3 February 2003 23:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Butt whatever do you mean Kim?

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 3 February 2003 23:47 (twenty-two years ago)

I knew I'd live to regret that Shania thread comment the moment I hit submit!

Kim (Kim), Monday, 3 February 2003 23:50 (twenty-two years ago)

ILE, its for the ass obssessed.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 3 February 2003 23:52 (twenty-two years ago)

Look, if Sean's ass is gonna be any sort of theme, I'll make sure to head to Ottawa early.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 02:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Can I come with you?

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 02:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Sundar, would that be so that you could get back sooner as to avoid missing the FAP? You know you're loving this, Sean. All that time on the Stairmaster will finally pay off.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 02:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Sorry for being so tiresome, everyone. Are there any places we could go that have cider on tap?

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 03:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, this much asstalk might scare new people away - heck, it appears to be scaring the ones who've already met us too, so enough! :P

I'm not sure where they might have cider on tap. I'm kind of scared of it, to tell the truth.

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 04:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Anything even slightly sugary makes for bad hangovers.

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 04:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I think they might have cider at C'est What...I'm pretty sure they do at the Esplanade Bier Markt.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 04:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Ah, the list of beer on tap at C'est What? sez there is so cider. So we're in luch.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 04:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Holy crap! That place is nuts! Actually Kim, you have a point. The last time I went nutso drinking I mixed sambuca with water (!) and was quite ill, though no hangover (I rarely get one). When are they open until on Sunday nights? I think we should get there early so that when we all have to leave at 11 or whenever it isn't too much of a letdown.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 05:04 (twenty-two years ago)

We should probably go to both places.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 05:06 (twenty-two years ago)

C'est What will probably close at 1am. But I think Sneaky Dee's even has cider on tap and it has music and choonz and will be serving till 1 or 2 at least, god knows when that place actually closes.
Strongbow is pretty easy to find on tap around here, other ciders can be a bit harder to find.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 14:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Which reminds me, Strongbow (not so much Growers or whatever other shit is often available) isn't too sweet, and so shouldn't casue anyone any problems. You mean to tell me that you crazy people are willing to stay out late on a Sunday night? Well that's just terrific. Somewhere not too loud would be good; I'm old.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 15:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Also, I am really looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can while I'm there, although I do have some anxiety about you all thinking I'm a dink.

Bryan (Bryan), Tuesday, 4 February 2003 15:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Just watch out for the UoT student puke.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Monday, 10 February 2003 14:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Welcome
Check out other Green Room FAP threads like Toronto FAP Feb 16! Green Room! Be there! or I am a Werewolf3!

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 11 February 2003 04:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Squeezing of Ferrets, shaving of carrots, cabbage heads, giddy lee, will anyone understand us, come find out and then stumble over to Sneaky's for Wavelength. A former Sackvillian is playing at 3:30 pm I found so I may be there before hand enjoying my favorite Heuvos Rancheros in town.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Friday, 14 February 2003 06:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Feck, I spent two months living nearby and I never discovered this place - sounds good..

(Hmm, don't suppose anyone's watching any 6 Nations in T.O. over the weekend?)

Minky Starshine (Minky Starshine), Friday, 14 February 2003 14:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Opps. meant to include a link above...

Minky Starshine (Minky Starshine), Friday, 14 February 2003 14:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Are you still in Toronto, Minky? Are you coming out? Will you need pictures to recognize us?

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 14 February 2003 14:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Hmmm, you know I just might. Could be fun - would be nice to meet some people here anyways... And any excuse to drop into Second Spin and Flash 'n' Crash of course.
I'm not sure how the recognition thing is going to work - I _could_ say I'd wear a particular t-shirt but it'd prob. be for the wash and smelling wanly and I'd be forced to wear it so I'm going to think about this one..

Minky Starshine (Minky Starshine), Friday, 14 February 2003 15:49 (twenty-two years ago)

http://homepages.dsl.ca/~sean/dumbstuff/fap.jpg
Is probably the best picture to come from a past FAP.
I hate to report my Johnny Cat Premium Cat Litter shirt needs a washing as it reeks of Lee's Palace.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Saturday, 15 February 2003 01:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I may or may not wear the Rheos jersey again. Probably not. I was going to say that my hair is longer than that (I'm the one on the left, if the jersey wasn't already the giveaway) but I'm probably getting a haircut tomorrow so it's probably going to be about the same.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Saturday, 15 February 2003 01:22 (twenty-two years ago)

If I ever master fitting contact lenses onto my eyeballs I might not be wearing glasses.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Saturday, 15 February 2003 02:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Just think, your learning the skill of poking yourself in the eye.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Saturday, 15 February 2003 02:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Hmm, I wonder if the long fingernails I need to grow to play guitar have something to do with my difficulties.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Saturday, 15 February 2003 02:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Right then! I'll be wearing a green "Game Over" t-shirt. Mmmmm...bbeeeerr...

Minky Starshine (Minky Starshine), Saturday, 15 February 2003 03:39 (twenty-two years ago)

apparently i have substandard taste in beer, so i won't be drinking moosehead again in hopes the ilm people will accept me.

dyson (dyson), Saturday, 15 February 2003 07:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I will accept you more if you drink Moosehead.
I will also accept you more if you gree to the yumminess that fried egg on refried beans provides at 4 in the morning.
Oh Sneaku's, where would I be without thee to provide me with drinkable coffeee half way home.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Saturday, 15 February 2003 09:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Sneaku - Keanu's covert evil twin.

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 15 February 2003 16:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't forget the Styx CD! I'm going to be editing the recordings from the York concert tomorrow so I'll give you a CD of that when it's all done.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Saturday, 15 February 2003 18:02 (twenty-two years ago)

A fair trade, surely.

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 15 February 2003 18:45 (twenty-two years ago)

That may go down as my funnest Valentine's day ever, mostly cause I drank till I was a write off and made an ass of myself to surf music.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Saturday, 15 February 2003 19:10 (twenty-two years ago)

I wish I could say the same.

This post is actually just to remind myself to bring along Sean's Bowling for Columbine discs and Brandon's copy of the ilx comp.

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 15 February 2003 20:54 (twenty-two years ago)

and my copy of Nation Saving Grace?

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Saturday, 15 February 2003 21:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I got them in! I'm gonna be totally two-eyed tomorrow.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Sunday, 16 February 2003 00:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Holy mackinaw!

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Sunday, 16 February 2003 01:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Holy mackinaw Joe.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 16 February 2003 02:00 (twenty-two years ago)

Do you mind of I keep it another week? I want to make a copy but am out of blank cds.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 16 February 2003 03:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Certainly. Which reminds me I got a small gift to cheer you up from back in November.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 16 February 2003 03:29 (twenty-two years ago)

The fabled x-mas tape? Yes? I um, might need the cheering up. Today was weird and sad.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 16 February 2003 03:41 (twenty-two years ago)

No, my mom stole it from me and brought it back north, but I'm still working on it.
Its from that magical fabled night when you touched Tielli.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 16 February 2003 03:52 (twenty-two years ago)

No wait, my mistake, its from the Thursday, oh well.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 16 February 2003 03:55 (twenty-two years ago)

Mmmm Tielli.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 16 February 2003 03:56 (twenty-two years ago)

I sit at a computer at work all week long and I spent all day today messing with apache2, argh, just not the hot geek action I desire.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Sunday, 16 February 2003 04:42 (twenty-two years ago)

¿did someone say 'hot geek action'?

dyson (dyson), Sunday, 16 February 2003 06:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Revive to the top! As far as I know we're still on for tonight at 6:30pm at the Green Room. Not sure whether it will be upstairs or downstairs. Since I'm on antibiotics I'm going to have to be good tonight (ask nice and maybe you can see what's left of the bruise on my arm where they drew blood on Tuesday).

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Sunday, 16 February 2003 14:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm going to be a little late.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Sunday, 16 February 2003 22:34 (twenty-two years ago)

THE SWEET TASTE OF VICTORRYYYYYYYYY
http://homepages.dsl.ca/~sean/dumbstuff/sundar-egg-s.jpghttp://homepages.dsl.ca/~sean/dumbstuff/victoryyyy-s.jpg

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Monday, 17 February 2003 17:57 (twenty-two years ago)

:(

ditchy ditcherton (Mark P), Monday, 17 February 2003 18:01 (twenty-two years ago)

wow! If you click on the picture of Sundar, it gets enlarged and you can see some scary head coming out of Sundar's head!

jel -- (jel), Monday, 17 February 2003 18:27 (twenty-two years ago)

i checked out the "poop pals" website.
¡it's grebt!
http://www.pooppals.com/aimages/animated.gif

dyson (dyson), Monday, 17 February 2003 19:17 (twenty-two years ago)

That's the scariest head ever coming out of Sundar's head - BRYAN'S HEAD.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Monday, 17 February 2003 20:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Bryan, I probably didn't say goodbye to you. Sorry if my "state" detracted from your visit in any way - it was nice to meet you!

Kim (Kim), Wednesday, 19 February 2003 11:01 (twenty-two years ago)

There was no detraction; I had a great time. I just hope everyone was ok, as I was worried that we all got a little out of hand.

Bryan (Bryan), Wednesday, 19 February 2003 18:59 (twenty-two years ago)

(What did I miss, anyway?)

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 19 February 2003 19:14 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm not sure if any of us are really ready to talk about it yet.

Bryan (Bryan), Wednesday, 19 February 2003 19:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Might it result in children?

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 19 February 2003 19:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Bryan (Bryan), Wednesday, 19 February 2003 19:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Did someone get their face tattooed?

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 19 February 2003 19:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Let's put it this way...do you see that egg upthread...?

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Wednesday, 19 February 2003 19:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Mm hm...?

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 19 February 2003 20:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, Sundar ATE it. Apart from that, there was just lotsa drinkin'. Bryan can pound 'em back.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Thursday, 20 February 2003 13:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Actually, come to think of it, I might've been the only one who was out of control, and the only child that resulted from the FAP was the Alien baby that developed inside my skull sometime between getting on the subway and when I woke up Monday.

Bryan (Bryan), Thursday, 20 February 2003 15:23 (twenty-two years ago)
