haha i just found a mislaid cache of notes for my book:

"the missing parameter is HEAT!!" (i actually know what this means — i guess bcz in a way the entire book is an elaboration)

i worry sometimes that one of these mislaid thoughts will be the KEY TO EVERYTHING, like those phrases you wake up from a dream with...

I do this a lot --- I will make little notes to myself on my notepad, and then a few days pass and when I look at the note it makes no sense whatsoever to me.

anyway the great trawl is complete, i have filed or piled or chucked EVERYTHING I EVER WROTE that i still have (well except some boxes i'll do later) (haha)

sadly i found no more strange notes, tho i did find a xerox of a cartoon featuring a cross man with a weird-shaped head, in a v-neck sweater, saying to the woman standing at his shoulder: "My 'Paperclip People', as you call them, prefer to be referred to as 'Twisty Americans of Metallic Descent'"

haha, you're asked to leave yr phone numbers, plural, to be contacted on and I wanted to leave my mobile no. as well, but couldn't remember it. So I rang the second time to leave both my home and mobile nos., but they don't give you long enough, so they got my home no. and *half* of my mobile no.!
