The problem with Dennis is that the actor is TOO MIDDLE CLASS for his role. He's supposed to be from an abusive background, in and out of care homes, hanging out with East End mafiosi and yet he talks like a drama graduate in a Hollyoaks audition.

Although he does 'creepy' very well indeed. The episode when him and Sharon had dirty brother/sister sex was great.

Have Dens Junior/Senior both jumped over the bar in tandem yet? If so, it can't be far away...

Nearly ALL the actors in stenders are too middle class for their roles. This bloke's problem is he's a bit more rubbish at acting than they are.

I think he's gorgeous. And a much better actor than Letitia Dean, that's for sure. I say managing to pretend he has the hots for her deserves a Bafta or something.

(Kate, an even more shameful crush for you - there's something about Alfie that I find quite endearing/attractive too, even if I do wish he'd finish off his horrible, baby-talk nan...)

Young Dennis hooked Sharon am dillion by accident. He had the old red mist cause Den was winding him up 'bout being abused when he was in care. Sharon came up behind him to restrain him and he turned round and socked her a cracker on the jaw. She went down like a backstreet whore. Poor Dennis was distraught but Den herded Sharon and Vicki out the pub and back to the house before Dennis got a chance to speak to her. Then Dot Cotton (bless her) took him home and let him tax a menthol fag.
