I just saw the Paris Hilton sex tape thanks to a member of a different msg board, and 1) it's authentic 2) it's actually very good despite poor nite-vision filming. Have you seen it and what do you think of it? And what do you think of the Hilton phenom. in general? I think I may object to someone being famous for purely nothing; I mean runway models and Ashton Kutcher at least technically have a job for all their disproportionate fame & income.

I just phoned in my resignation for my awful retail job (where ours was the only store in the chain non-commission yet not excluded from HOURLY 'performance reports' where we are constantly reminded we need to pick things up even if not a single customer had walked in all day) and I feel strangely neutral. I wish I felt more of a rush but sadly the person who picked up the phone was the only person there I liked. Sigh.

Thanks Ned. I've never felt so paranoid and overextended in relation to the pittance I was being paid as I have in this job (and I have telemarketed in my desperate youth), so I'm very happy. This will give me more time to help put together a little new magazine with a few close friends. We don't expect it to be successful but we've had our minds on it for a while and we only live once.
