This is weird. Just dropped at the door to my apt. by the mail carrier: a package from somebody in Massachusetts (Anna something; can't read the last name), dated August 7, 2002. Inside, with no further note or explanation, was a copy of the Playstation 2 game Burnout.

I really don't remember ordering this game.

possibly you won it in a contest that you entered online without giving it a second thought. I got an R.L. Burnside 12" in the mail (at home) once and had a hell of a time figuring out how the hell that happened, since a) i usually get that kinda thing at work and b) it was a little old.

It had my name on it -- as "Nathan", so I'm guessing it was some sort of online business transaction (all the mix-CD people and label promo cats address their swag to "Nate"). But still, Burnout? I bought, played and got sick of Burnout 2 over a year ago.
