I haven't been able to access the DD page since before Halloween.

(IIRC there was a note on that page from the creator specifically asking people NOT to hotlink images because of bandwidth problems.)

I just ran across this comic, which is a remix of one of those fire-and-brimstone "Chick Tracts." It has a lot of foul language, and you may find it offensive, but I was rolling with laughter. I think my favorite parts are the Bauhaus logo pasted into Maggie's bedroom and when the dark-haired woman announces that she'll "kill anyone who opposes the countercultural assault of noise music." I'm not sure if I agree with the comic's message though. I played D&D in middle school and frequented a goth club as a teenager, and I didn't turn out weird.
Anyway, this deals with class in the sense of Berger's idea of situatedness, and we'll be talking more about bricolage and appropriation in a few weeks.
