Why are you asking this?

Hurry up and do a search on Sweden!

Aja (aja), Sunday, 8 February 2004 00:55 (twenty-two years ago)

I am that flatmate. I love me some toilet paper.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Sunday, 8 February 2004 01:02 (twenty-two years ago)

it seems like i buy at least one 'super family pack' of like 12 or 15 rolls every month, and they just disappear. she never will buy any, either.

this is just one reason i'm moving out...

my roommate uses up dish detergent really quickly. this is because instead of putting a few drops on the sponge and then washing all the dishes (like a sane human being), she takes a dish, pours the detergent all over it, and then rubs it with the sponge. for each seprarate item. and silverware.

i don't know how to tell her that she is doing it ALL WRONG without horribly offending her because obviously she was taught, probably by someone who has some sort of sentimental value in her mind, a parent, say, to wash dishes this way. thus, clearly the whole family is psychotic.

anyway, yes, maybe your roommate is wiping ALL WRONG, you should sit him down and address it.

I used to wash dishes that way too. Then we got a dishwasher.

Aja (aja), Sunday, 8 February 2004 01:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Some people wipe more than others.

Rockist Scientist (rockistscientist), Sunday, 8 February 2004 01:16 (twenty-two years ago)

When I had a room-mate, his girlfriend once complained to him about how she got stuck in the bathroom without any toilet paper and she was mad at me since I was responsible for buying it. He ended up giving her a lecture on how she was a guest here and blah blah blah. Fortunately, I wasn't there for any of that. Then she ended up feeling guilty. The whole thing seems absurd now.

Rockist Scientist (rockistscientist), Sunday, 8 February 2004 01:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Not that it wasn't asburd then, but it somehow became a very emotional issue.

Rockist Scientist (rockistscientist), Sunday, 8 February 2004 01:19 (twenty-two years ago)

I think that deep-fried Indian bread made me high.
