The Gentle Giant, an amazing footballer, if he had been born twenty years later everyone would have heard of him, but no. He left Leeds and his part time job for Juventus, where he scored twenty odd goals a season and never got so much as booked, incredible when you think he was playing in the sneakiest league in the world. They'd play him up front tilhe scored and then he'd go into central defence and close the game up.

I saw him in 1998 being interviewed at the RFH and he was the nicest man you'd ever want to meet.

He died last night, very sad.
