you can watch films on it (well, tv programmes, anyway)! and browse the internet! and take photos and play mp3s and... but i'm at quite a loss to see why i really want to do any of these things. but i do.
umm, this is a thread to talk about items of technology that you never knew you needed and still don't, but you think you do. or something.

I have never done this.
Similar function for ILX for those who sit through long work meetings = classic. (But drain on txt msg charges = dud I guess, as I imagine people would text you replies too actually this is the worst idea ever)

Supposedly the new Nokia Lumia (Windows) is going to have a 41-megapixel camera. I'm kind of intrigued.

i bought the level entry lumia 550 with w10 last week for mk2 (welcome to being a teenager!), then after helping him set it all up, i decided to get one for myself as i have been hanging onto an old w7 phone for far too long and had become as useful as a chocolate fireguard in recent times.i suspect that w10 is hated on ile, but i happen to think it's rather good, and for the money, the 550 is pretty damn fine.it must be a loss leader given the cost (unlocked/sim free : a lot less than £100 in the uk via certain providers) and the depth of functionality.
