Right now, as of this very moment, I really fucking dig you all.
My co-workers are almost tolerable today.
Spending 7 hours at County Hospital is not a fun way to spend a night, but for my friends, I'd do almost anything.
Spring is most defifuckingnitely here. I'm seven different kinds of smitten.
These sure as hell are interesting times, boys and girls.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 17:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Luna, you are swell.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 11 March 2004 17:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I almost started an 'oh my life suxxx' thread today, but then I realized that there are nice people out there. Yeah, and probably in my life too.

That's as twee as it gets, y'all. Rock on.

Begs2Differ (Begs2Differ), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:00 (twenty-two years ago)

so far three people have gotten 90s although Jeremy had a bit of help by people saying answers here.

Ask For Janice (thatgirl), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't have flash at work so I can't do any of the quizzizzes y'all. I'm not just being a snob.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:03 (twenty-two years ago)

i think mine is too hard. but my favorite movie is really the dirty dozen.

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I didn't even read the answers! I got your favorite band wrong Chris, and one other one, 'cept I forget which.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:05 (twenty-two years ago)

you guys are all swell!

Donna Brown (Donna Brown), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:05 (twenty-two years ago)

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:22 (twenty-two years ago)

My quiz

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Julia yours was too hard!

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:28 (twenty-two years ago)

I was trying not to make it too easy and maybe I succeeded too much...

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:30 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah your's was hard. i got a 40

Ask For Janice (thatgirl), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:31 (twenty-two years ago)

i scored what i typically scored in high school!

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Btw Chris, I had a dream that I was trying to arrange an appointment with a Dr. Venutti (how annoying that I dream about making dr. appointments), but I never got to meet you because I got kidnapped by friends for a makeover.

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:32 (twenty-two years ago)

was ILX just down for a minute or was it just me?

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Haha! Um, what kind of doctor was I? Hehe.

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:34 (twenty-two years ago)

No I knew your job, Chris

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:35 (twenty-two years ago)

right now Im listening to Van Halen "Mean Street" and thinking about grooming my chest hair.

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Damn, I got a 40, too.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:37 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah, huck it was down for a minute.

kephm, Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:37 (twenty-two years ago)

On Jules' quiz. I don't actually have a 40. Work would be way better if I did.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:37 (twenty-two years ago)

mmm 40's of schaeffer.

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:40 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris, I think you were just an endocrinologist (hormone doc), sorry.

I got your job wrong on your quiz. Knew you were an analyst of some kind but I space out on details.

Sorry mine's so hard! I was afraid I would be way too obvious with everything so I tried too hard in the opposite direction...

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:40 (twenty-two years ago)

I wanted to be an eye doctor!

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:42 (twenty-two years ago)

when I do my quiz tonight, it's gonna rock so hard, but you all will be bored of these quizzizzes by then and I'll feel like an ass!

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:43 (twenty-two years ago)

Take my Quiz on QuizYourFriends.com!

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:53 (twenty-two years ago)

I do need to see an eye doctor one of these days, so you could have been that. But it was a Very Important Appointment, which is why you were probably an endo.

I looked over my test and I'm kind of evil. With the job question and the guitar question (and the food question) all the answers were feasible and somewhat accurate but only one was technically correct.

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:56 (twenty-two years ago)

Luna's was pretty hard too. Damn I forgot to add my tattoo question! Well how many do I have?

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:57 (twenty-two years ago)

three.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:57 (twenty-two years ago)

huck thinks im crazy because I like Michael Buble.

4 is the correct answer.

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:58 (twenty-two years ago)

damn, I nearly said four, too.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 18:59 (twenty-two years ago)

oh I know - I got the guitar one wrong on yours, too, Chris - I picked it, and as soon as I did, went 'fuck, no!'

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:00 (twenty-two years ago)

My uncle knows Michael Buble. My uncle works (sometimes) in musical theatre. He's a nice guy though (my uncle) and I don't hold it against him. Also, Michael Buble was discovered while singing at the wedding of the daughter of one of Canada's most despised leaders. So there's that working for/against him.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:00 (twenty-two years ago)

80 on luna's quiz, cuz i forgot one of the answers.

Kingfish Cowboy (Kingfish), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Somebody got a 90 on Luna's quiz.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:03 (twenty-two years ago)

You did!

It's the middle name one that no one knows, isn't it?

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, I got that one wrong. (I got a 70)

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:05 (twenty-two years ago)

I knew the middle name! I missed the bungee jumping one.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:05 (twenty-two years ago)

i did awful at luna's. wtf i suck.

Chris 'The Velvet Bingo' V (Chris V), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:06 (twenty-two years ago)

I scored mine wrong. So the food question is wrong anyway. But the choices are all favorites, so whatever.

(I missed the bungee jumping one too...)

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:08 (twenty-two years ago)

80

Ask For Janice (thatgirl), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Bah, I was going to post a 'rah for Luna' message at the start of this thread but the computer ate it. So I post it here.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Yo bitchez & bitchettes! Take my pissant Quiz on QuizYourFriends.com!

Kingfish Cowboy (Kingfish), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:42 (twenty-two years ago)

I got a 60 - I so fucking knew things I got wrong, too.

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:44 (twenty-two years ago)

I got a 30!

JuliaA (j_bdules), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:57 (twenty-two years ago)

i interrupt quiz madness to issue a general plea: STOP FUCKING SENDING ME SXSW EVENT INVITES. i'm not there, i'm mad about not being there, and the shit is cluttering up my inbox.

lauren (laurenp), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm not there either. I fucking should be though. Of all years, this shoulda been my year. But I screwed up. Lost my temper.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Thursday, 11 March 2004 19:59 (twenty-two years ago)

a measely 40.

fuck SXSW. I was going down to austin next week to visit my homies since it's spring break but lack of money and my about to blow up car prevented it. *grumble*

Ask For Janice (thatgirl), Thursday, 11 March 2004 20:01 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm going back to that Irish place tomorrow, man.

Also: I got sick of having to replace cheap sunglasses every couple months, especially since I no longer live near the French Market where I could get decent sunglasses for three bucks, so I bought some Ray-Bans.

http://www.idea-inc.com/~bill/3190.jpg

I dig em.

Tep (ktepi), Saturday, 27 March 2004 04:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Thanks, Sam, and ditto - but I do know why my mood has improved since Thursday, I just can't reveal it here!

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 27 March 2004 08:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Does it involve nookie?

Casuistry (Chris P), Saturday, 27 March 2004 08:22 (twenty-one years ago)

Sadly not quite.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 27 March 2004 08:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 28 March 2004 18:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 28 March 2004 20:21 (twenty-one years ago)

:)

(how are you martin?)

Ask For Samantha (thatgirl), Sunday, 28 March 2004 21:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Not bad thanks - a bad night on Friday, lots of waking up scared and panicky and overheated, for no detectable real reason, but okay since. I am hoping the very bad spell of a few days ago won't be back any time soon.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 28 March 2004 21:29 (twenty-one years ago)

After temping all this past week, I was way behind on this thread. I actually had to skim most of it. Sorry. I'll do better this week.

NA (Nick A.), Monday, 29 March 2004 00:39 (twenty-one years ago)

say, anybody know somebody who'd pay a decent amount for tickets for the NCAA Frozen Four this year in Boston? Michigan just lost, so my buddies & i are debating what to do with our tix...

Kingfish Hypercolor (Kingfish), Monday, 29 March 2004 01:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey guys & gals! Ahh Monday *sticks 2 fingers up* I am pretty snappy this morning, but not in a bad mood or anything, my already low patience is less that usual. Cyclists & receptionists beware!
Me & the boy decided over the w/e that we are going to go to Glastonbury this year. I am looking forward to it but with a hint of trepidation. I am slightly concerned about the logistics (just need to chill the f@#k out) & also the fact that all around me will be getting off their faces & I wont. hmmm.
Also, (in case anyone is interested in boobgate) I had another fitting & it turns out I'm not the 38DD that the stoopid girl said I was, but 34F! So *blows a raspberry* to the stoopid sales assistant & a big *mwah* to the lovely girls at Br@vissimo! jeez i've got big puppies, feel free to praise me! xxx

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 29 March 2004 09:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Hurrah for the boobalicious Panther of Pinkxor!

Hope you are all having a good Monday, or that you will be when you get up...

I turned up at work today at my normal Monday time (10am - my one precious late morning start of the week) to find the place locked and in darkness. Out of five possible staff members, NOBODY was there for opening time at 9am. Arrrrghhh much stress from boss. Not remotely my fault of course but still someone had to start muttering about why wasn't it 'flagged up' that I started at 10. Er, I HAVE BEEN STARTING AT 10 ON MONDAYS FOR MONTHS.

I'd also had to work on Saturday and had a crap time with the buses, the other people on duty for the open day, the alarm system which was activated by a poster falling off the wall (!) and I don't have a code to reset it, and generally I hate my job.

Archel (Archel), Monday, 29 March 2004 11:10 (twenty-one years ago)

*bows, then has trouble standing upright*

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 29 March 2004 11:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Aww archel, your monday morning truly suXor! *hugs*

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 29 March 2004 11:42 (twenty-one years ago)

YAY BOOBS!!!

NA (Nick A.), Monday, 29 March 2004 12:50 (twenty-one years ago)

BOO WORK!!!

NA (Nick A.), Monday, 29 March 2004 12:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Yay Sam for having a new b/f! woo!
martin - How goes it with you today? How was the w/e?
x-post

I read that as 'boob work'!

Boobylicious (Pinkpanther), Monday, 29 March 2004 12:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm retiring from ILX, as I have basically just said everything I have to say.

NA (Nick A.), Monday, 29 March 2004 12:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Are any TITTWISers going to Glasto? Uk obviously, although it would be cool if some of y'all from the USofA could make it over! Come share my tent!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 29 March 2004 13:00 (twenty-one years ago)

I will remember your words of wisdom for the rest of my days and try to live up them, NA.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Monday, 29 March 2004 13:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Live up them? Euw, dude!

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 29 March 2004 13:38 (twenty-one years ago)

If soneone would like to try, please talk me out of eating a King Sixe (3 piece) Bounty for breakfast washed down with a litre of chocolate milk.

Bryan B Sure (Bryan), Monday, 29 March 2004 13:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Bryan, you'll only hate yourself in the afternoon.

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Monday, 29 March 2004 13:59 (twenty-one years ago)

See, there's the thing: I hate myself all the time so it really makes no difference.

Bryan B Sure (Bryan), Monday, 29 March 2004 14:01 (twenty-one years ago)

High in calcium - do it!

Archel (Archel), Monday, 29 March 2004 14:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Well, then, you'll only love youself while the chocalatey coconut lasts!

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Monday, 29 March 2004 14:03 (twenty-one years ago)

I say do it! 'Do it, do it!'

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 29 March 2004 14:04 (twenty-one years ago)

So....?

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Monday, 29 March 2004 15:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Bryan, drop the Bounty, and have some cereal instead. Bounty's are horrible anyway!

jel -- (jel), Monday, 29 March 2004 15:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Kingfish Hypercolor (Kingfish), Monday, 29 March 2004 16:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 29 March 2004 16:54 (twenty-one years ago)

luna (luna.c), Monday, 29 March 2004 16:54 (twenty-one years ago)

Ask For Samantha (thatgirl), Monday, 29 March 2004 16:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Like a Mounds

luna (luna.c), Monday, 29 March 2004 16:55 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm like waiting for the mail to get here and not getting much done while waiting to go to my doctor's appointment. Today's one of those muted Mondays where it isn't crap or anything, it's just ... eh.

(Tuesdays are my Mondays anyway, since I have classes all day and they're hard.)

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 29 March 2004 16:56 (twenty-one years ago)

bounty = coconut filled chocolate bar.

jel -- (jel), Monday, 29 March 2004 16:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Okay, so I started this story late last night on another thread and promised I'd finish it here.

So last night, I went over to my parents' for Sunday whatever, and my parents, who have recently become these great travellers were telling me about all the great B&Bs they stay in (because they had just booked a beachfront cottage in PEI for a week in June). So they decide to show me what they look like by calling up the websites for them. Whoo-hoo.
So anyway, they're raving about this place they stayed at in Calgary a few months ago and just really gushing about how great everything there was and how everybody was so friendly and informal.
So they call up the website and it's just loaded with pink triangles and stuff.
I'm not sure if my parents were completely oblivious, or if they're just that cool. I kinda think it's a combination. But the place does look really nice and pretty reasonably-priced (except during the rodeo, naturally).

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Monday, 29 March 2004 16:59 (twenty-one years ago)

I am home today! (UC holiday, yay.) It's a spectacular day for lollygagging.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 29 March 2004 17:02 (twenty-one years ago)

This is the thread where we talk about Ned's Heimlich fetish.

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 29 March 2004 17:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey, you're crude.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 29 March 2004 17:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Uuuuuuuuum okay.

luna (luna.c), Monday, 29 March 2004 17:14 (twenty-one years ago)

There's nothing crude about that!

(Lollygagging. A spectacular day for lollygagging.)

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 29 March 2004 17:14 (twenty-one years ago)

live on!

The Huckle-Buck (Horace Mann), Monday, 29 March 2004 17:45 (twenty-one years ago)

(He likes to gag on lollies, see. The pop kind. Then he chokes and people have to perform the Heimlich maneuver on him. Lolly-gagging.)

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 29 March 2004 17:48 (twenty-one years ago)

New thread, ya punks.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 29 March 2004 17:50 (twenty-one years ago)
