Huck, Thursday, 8 April 2004 00:43 (twenty-one years ago)

the surface noise (electricsound), Thursday, 8 April 2004 00:43 (twenty-one years ago)

other than that, good luck.

Huck, Thursday, 8 April 2004 00:43 (twenty-one years ago)

you know, their opening sequence logo thing

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 00:45 (twenty-one years ago)

I really didn't think this would be you. I thought it would be some drunk guy. So I was wrong, but also right.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Hi from my new Powerbook! Wheeeeeee!

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:05 (twenty-one years ago)

not drunk, only tired!

how is your new powerbook? is it fun and awesome?

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:11 (twenty-one years ago)

do you have nicotine up & ragin' yet?

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:12 (twenty-one years ago)

It really is! Also a cat came right up to our door and we fed it tuna while I was updating all the software, which was great! And I have Garageband!

Nicotine should be up over the weekend. Recommend me a cigar.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:14 (twenty-one years ago)

But do it here!

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:14 (twenty-one years ago)

i just did!

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:16 (twenty-one years ago)

do you have final cut? btw dvd studio pro is the total shit. in the good way

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I had errrrrrr "complimentary" versions of both of those on my old Mac, maybe I can rescue them? A tech at my old workplace acquired them for me, so I have lost all my connex!

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Now tell me where I can paypal you for this DVD! I am making a Garageband track as we speak! it's 240bpm!!!!

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:18 (twenty-one years ago)

don't paypal me, just send me your song!

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:19 (twenty-one years ago)

here's a good trick with garageband--go to the sound effects menu and add crowd noises, and time it so a big cheer goes up when your favourite part of the song happens! it's really fun

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:19 (twenty-one years ago)

It's not ready! But soon!

x-post that sounds awesome

BUT

is it actually any good?

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:20 (twenty-one years ago)

is what?

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:21 (twenty-one years ago)

GarageBand.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:22 (twenty-one years ago)

it's very fun but the novelty wore off quickly. it's not as fun as fruity loops. i suppose if i had a midi keyboard or a guitar or talent or something i'd like it more.

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:23 (twenty-one years ago)

:(

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:24 (twenty-one years ago)

but i'm sure i'll come around to it and have more fun! i've already used it for a movie, so that's good!

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Fruity Loops still sounds like the best thing ever.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:25 (twenty-one years ago)

it is the best! i wish my old computer did wheeze and cough like it does so i could play with it again.

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Hmmm...looks like I have some other new stuff. This is all very interesting...

iDVD, some iChat thing with a new symbol...And Panther!

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:26 (twenty-one years ago)

get on the ichat!

also how much does panther rule! i could just press f9, f10, and f11 all day!

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:27 (twenty-one years ago)

i guess that means i'm a "loser"!

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:27 (twenty-one years ago)

So you were going to be in a fashion mag? Are you fashionable?

Why, what do the F keys do? Oh, I see.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:28 (twenty-one years ago)

THIS THREAD HAS REACHED ITS EXCLAMATION MARK LIMIT AND WILL BE SHUT DOWN

oops (Oops), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:28 (twenty-one years ago)

i guess i'm not fashionable enough for those jerks! we basically wrote the article too, which stings. i should ask for a killfee.

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Is that hotshot journo talk? Did you get photos taken?

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Sorry, American idol was on. I was gone for a second there. But it wasn't very exciting.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:33 (twenty-one years ago)

no but i payed a photographer a bunch of money for a print of a photo he had taken a couple of years ago to use in the article! so i am out of pocket! grrrr

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:34 (twenty-one years ago)

And what DVD player do you have? Mine is cheap and multi-region. What criterion DVD was it? You should get Netflix, I'm watching a couple of movies a day at the moment!

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:34 (twenty-one years ago)

we don't have netflix here! and if it ever does come to canada i'm sure it won't be available in quebec!

i have a nice panasonic rv31k or something like that. it's treated me well over the last couple of years but now with the whirring. (it was the rules of the game dvd btw)

s1ocki (slutsky), Thursday, 8 April 2004 02:37 (twenty-one years ago)

did you wind up with extra $$$ from the insurance?

I want a powerbook but have no reason to own one. Not that "reason" or "need" have ever stopped me before!
