I got accused of being a sports fan because I knew something about hockey. Sheesh! You can't live in Canada, I mean, Upstate NY for any length of time and not know about it. I don't give a toss about football (except for my newfound tolerance, thanks, Barry and Carsmile) but I know who won that cup you just had.

We were talking about the Streatham ice rink around the corner from my new house, and how they have a hockey team. I said "That's not real hockey. Really hockey is about the Rangers and the Islanders, and it's not a game unless there's blood on the ice!!!"

To which Matt went "Ha HA!!! You like sport after all!"

Where did I say I liked it? I just said it was violent. Thus supporting my original argument about sport being organised warfare. So there.
