Alex in NYC (vassifer), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:29 (twenty-one years ago)

See, now how come that one works?

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:30 (twenty-one years ago)

I look the same as I did when I "left"

My hair's about two inches shorter though.

Aja (aja), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:31 (twenty-one years ago)

OMG. Where is that?

dean? (deangulberry), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Which?

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Let's try this one more time, only smaller...

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:38 (twenty-one years ago)

The ATHF mural (which fuckin' knocked me right off my bike when i spotted it) is inexplicably on some random deli's wall in the Meat Packing district. And a thing of great beauty it is.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Yeah, that's pretty great. Do you have a picture of the entire thing?

dean? (deangulberry), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Nah, that's the only snap I have of it. Shoulda taken one from a distance to get all of it, but was pressed for time. This was only this week, so it's still there, if you want to go make a pilgrimage to it or something.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:41 (twenty-one years ago)

I shall, I shall.

dean? (deangulberry), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:42 (twenty-one years ago)

oh, the usual

gabbneb (gabbneb), Sunday, 12 September 2004 21:48 (twenty-one years ago)

hello - the lure of ilx still has me popping my head in - gah will I ever be rid of my internet addiction?
Anyway, I still look pretty much the same as last time I posted a photo except I have this rather nice new orange hoodie.

I still look pretty much the same as last time

But you look different in every single photo you post!

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 12 September 2004 22:04 (twenty-one years ago)

I mean, "who is connecticut?"

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 12 September 2004 22:07 (twenty-one years ago)

and so on.

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 12 September 2004 22:08 (twenty-one years ago)

yeh, i didn't really take much time to read what was on the top. actually i only just realised it said "connecticut" on it. oh well...

dog latin (dog latin), Sunday, 12 September 2004 22:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Your image wasn't working because it was too tall, Alex. Not too tall in a spirtual sense, but too tall to get through the fascist image parser.

Here's a couple of me at Lake Ontario yesterday:

I like your cardigan and hair, ken c.

Cathy (Cathy), Monday, 13 September 2004 08:08 (twenty-one years ago)

Jeremy, Sarah and I have known Greg for years and it's a genuinely unsettling experience watching the Spiderman films. We went to see Spiderman 1 on our first date and it was like Greg was in the cinema with us :/

(normally a good thing, as he's a splendid chap, but on a first date?)

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 13 September 2004 09:10 (twenty-one years ago)

p.s. Greg, there's a somewhat older photo of you that you really should post. Or maybe I should try to find it...?

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 13 September 2004 09:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Since this picture seemed to kill off the old thread (bah!), I will shamelessly post it again!

http://www.grampaslap.com/ilx/goff.jpg

lolita corpus (lolitacorpus), Tuesday, 28 September 2004 07:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Beware of wringing out delicate clothing - it can stretch things out of shape, as can hanging out something while it's heavy with water, which is why they tell you to dry it flat. Here's what to do: lay out our jumper on an old towel and roll it up into a big sausage. Excess water will be soaked up by the towel and you can then hang your jumper out normally without needing to dry it flat.

Alternatively, you can go to John Lewis and get a netting thing on a frame that sits on your bath which you can lay your jumper on to dry it flat, but these things cost money and old towels don't.

You kinda look like yr sittin' on the john.

Towelette Pettatucci (Homosexual II), Thursday, 30 September 2004 14:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Sarah's hair looks way longer in that pic than it usually does! Although I guess she usually has it tied back?

Casuistry (Chris P), Thursday, 30 September 2004 14:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Xpost that was to Jordan, not n/a.

Jordan (Jordan), Thursday, 30 September 2004 14:27 (twenty-one years ago)

Is that cottage cheese in one of those tins?

Towelette Pettatucci (Homosexual II), Thursday, 30 September 2004 14:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Bass - it weighs approximately a million bajillion pounds...

I think my face looks like a skeleton in that pic, really boxy or something.

Dehydrated butter. Or possible the Textured Vegetable Protein (Hamburger Flavor).

Jordan (Jordan), Thursday, 30 September 2004 14:44 (twenty-one years ago)

mookieproof (mookieproof), Thursday, 30 September 2004 14:44 (twenty-one years ago)

n/a (Nick A.), Thursday, 30 September 2004 14:47 (twenty-one years ago)

I think that's a cool Fake Fictions pic!

PinXorchiXoR (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 30 September 2004 14:49 (twenty-one years ago)

It was my girlfriend's idea. She had cans of this stuff that her parents had kept since the Cold War, and took it when they split up. She wanted to see what life would be like after a zombie apocalypse or some similar disaster, you know?

(they all tasted like shit, of course, but I think I could survive on the dehydrated potatoes if necessary)

Jordan (Jordan), Thursday, 30 September 2004 14:50 (twenty-one years ago)

No offense, Jordan, but your dinner kind of made me lose my appetite.

Towelette Pettatucci (Homosexual II), Thursday, 30 September 2004 15:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Me too, Mandee, me too.
