I did something worthwhile today, I was with a friend visiting her grandmother in an old folks home and there was a radio blasting bad Phil Collins music, with a piano under it. I sat there and played Velvet Underground and My Bloody Valentine songs. After I got up two old people thanked me and it was the most sincere, hearbreaking thanks I have ever received.
