there were cool things in the Marais and Latin Quarter. I can't remember specifically what though other than an awesome mod white and yellow glass paperweight that was in some design-y shop that I didn't buy which I now regret.

Colette is worth a look, I think it's on St. Germain des Pres.

Tokon Zokai is a good place for really weird clothes, it is run by Marjan Pejoski and it's near the Israeli embassy . . . sort of.

i could NOT fucking find that place (bimbo tower) when I was in Paris. Lame ass Time Out map didn't have the street on it, even though it listed the store. I was so mad!

It's in a really hard to find little alley. The lady at the cafe nearby told us where to go though.

It was tricky finding, but it was worth it, I'd say. The alley isn't very prominently marked.

there's a sign on the side of the building, the alley where bimbo tower is i mean

bimbo tower = ok, not too exciting if you're not into zines and comix and overpriced comps of japanese pysch bands
