Hey London: Help a Brother Out

So as previously mentioned Nabisco and Nory will be in London this coming week, Wednesday through Sunday. I will be doing nothing in particular for the bulk of this time, excluding, unfortunately, Friday night. So . . . what's going on? I'd love to hear of any shows or events or such that anyone recommends. And I'd of course love to see any of you Londoners who are free -- I don't see any FAPaction on the FAPcalender, but do email if you're up for anything else.

You never responded to my mail, Nitsuh! (Admittedly this has nothing to do with London.)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 7 November 2004 00:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Mark H just started a FAP thread for Thursday (the traditional Glasshouse Stores), and if you can make it I think we can expect a very high turnout. I'll be sure to show up to anything else you want to nominate too - there aren't many people on here I'm keener to meet. If I replace the punctuation with 'it' and remove the 'b', is that a real email? I'll send you my mobile number in case I can be of help or anything.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 7 November 2004 00:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Nabisco has my email address and had better bloody use it.

suzy (suzy), Sunday, 7 November 2004 06:12 (twenty-one years ago)

be good to see you on Thursday, Nabisco.

MarkH (MarkH), Sunday, 7 November 2004 10:10 (twenty-one years ago)

Thursday! Nabisco, I need to send you mail.

suzy (suzy), Monday, 8 November 2004 08:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Ed (dali), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Anna, shouting you after lunch after appt at ESM when I get the goods on the future or summat (sorry that's cryptic for everyone else...and possibly to Anna!)

suzy (suzy), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, it's cryptic for me too. Internet still buggered, I'm in a cafe at the moment, so call rather than emailing. Oh! Right! Just got it. I am being slow on the uptake today (ILx faints in shock etc).

Anna (Anna), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:27 (twenty-one years ago)

It's like everyone's speaking in code or something.

Masonic Laundry Boom (kate), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:28 (twenty-one years ago)

The red fox flys past you happily Agent Boom.

Anna (Anna), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:29 (twenty-one years ago)

the cat is out of the bag, ABORT

Freelance Hiveminder (blueski), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:31 (twenty-one years ago)

The weather is inclement in Quebec.

I'm cool for Thursday and Saturday, and possibly Wednesday, if there's anything going on on any of those days.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:31 (twenty-one years ago)

What's brown in Clerkenwell?

THE SECRET FOX FLYING OVER THE TOP OF MY HEAD SINGING A FEW HAIRS ON THE WAY OVER!!!

Masonic Laundry Boom (kate), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Guys, remember that we DO want Nitsuh to come for a pint, right?

Shabazz (hello chickens), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:33 (twenty-one years ago)

What's brown in Clerkenwell?

Since they've torn down the Gray's Inn Buildings, a prix fixe has become impossible. We do GREEN here.

Don't worry Shabazz, he'll drink with us.

suzy (suzy), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:36 (twenty-one years ago)

But they haven't torn down the Greys Inn Buildings! They're still there, albeit held up with giant girders. (Made in Scotland, possibly.) I hope they remove that bit of wall with all the graffiti and offer it the Turner Prize or something.

Masonic Laundry Boom (kate), Monday, 8 November 2004 11:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Mais je ne parle le Clerkenwelle et alors je ne comprende cette fil! bof, je serai en attendance dans le Glasshouse Stores, "néanmoins" - que accordant au Babelfish est le francais pour "nevertheless" but I've never heard it in my life, so what can you do.

Shabazz (hello chickens), Monday, 8 November 2004 12:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I think I'm sufficiently scared now. I'll see you all Thursday!
