Let's speculate about my favorite poster andy@grasshopper.org. Who is he? What's his deal? Did he remember to turn his clocks back?

sorry dudes, Monday, 4 April 2005 18:59 (twenty years ago)

He's a good and mysterious egg.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 4 April 2005 18:59 (twenty years ago)

classic!

Remy Ulysses Fitzgerald (x Jeremy), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:06 (twenty years ago)

Ok, yes, this guy rules. He is one of those hidden ILX gems whose existence is only brought into the mainstream ILX light by a thread such as this.

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:16 (twenty years ago)

I like his posts.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:17 (twenty years ago)

My favorite threads and threads he's started have like 90% overlap!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:18 (twenty years ago)

I love andy. He always brightens my day. "Childhood beliefs about Russians" is classic.

jocelyn (Jocelyn), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:23 (twenty years ago)

God, YES, what an excelsior thread.

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:25 (twenty years ago)

He's a bit of an enigma, isn't he? His ratio of threads started to total posts is quite high, but the threads he starts are almost always amusing.

jaymc (jaymc), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:27 (twenty years ago)

Wait, SPRING FORWARD. Remy, did you set you clocks ahead or back?!

jaymc (jaymc), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:29 (twenty years ago)

I seriously hope he didn't turn his clocks back: it's spring!

nabisco (nabisco), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:30 (twenty years ago)

You crossposting fuck-raping ass bastard bitchwad.

nabisco (nabisco), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:30 (twenty years ago)

nabisco (nabisco), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:31 (twenty years ago)

I love you, too, Nabisco.

jaymc (jaymc), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:32 (twenty years ago)

uh oh. ANDY! DON'T LISTEN TO THE THREAD TITLE!

Remy Ulysses Fitzgerald (x Jeremy), Monday, 4 April 2005 19:36 (twenty years ago)

Andy is good people. And in real life, too (unless I have been mistakenly thinking he is another Andy for quite some time now, and I have never ever met him, in which case... um, I'm sure he would be lovely, yes).

emil.y (emil.y), Monday, 4 April 2005 21:42 (twenty years ago)

if it's the same andy I'm thinking it is, he does/did work/volunteer for one of the most fanatical Brian Wilson fans ever.

donut debonair (donut), Monday, 4 April 2005 22:06 (twenty years ago)

YEs, it's the same, and I did set my clock forward.

I think Emily & Stevie are the ILXors whom I've met in the Real World, (though I could be wrong) and they're thousands of miles away! Stevie and I shared a romantic weekend getaway.

Emily, I just relayed the story of the late-night low alcohol beer purchase to a guy from Nottingham... a night so right, yet so wrong.

Everyone's kind words are humbling; I'll strive to maintain my low standards.

andy --, Monday, 4 April 2005 22:44 (twenty years ago)

Oh, Emily another thing - Blowfly played in San Francisco on Saturday, but I didn't make it. I haven't heard yet how the show was.

andy --, Monday, 4 April 2005 22:47 (twenty years ago)

andy never hangs out with bay area ilxors! he's probably wise not to.

kyle (akmonday), Monday, 4 April 2005 22:55 (twenty years ago)

SPARKS, andy... you're missing out.

donut debonair (donut), Monday, 4 April 2005 23:48 (twenty years ago)

ooh i missed blowfly when he came thru here! i wanted to hear "who did i eat last night?" live.

Amon (eman), Tuesday, 5 April 2005 01:54 (twenty years ago)

kyle, that's because you don't offer as much Blowfly, booze and bizarreness as dear old Blighty, haha.

emil.y (emil.y), Tuesday, 5 April 2005 09:18 (twenty years ago)

andy@grasshopper.org is one of my new favorite ilx posters.

jill schoelen is the queen of my dreams! (Homosexual II), Thursday, 14 April 2005 22:50 (twenty years ago)

Oh no my boss wants to know how I spend my day...

M. White (Miguelito), Thursday, 14 April 2005 23:00 (twenty years ago)

He lives near me so he'd better not get cheeky.
