i didn't hear a damn thing about it except for a single ad in today's NYT. samuel l. jackson appears to feature on the poster but his name appears nowhere in the credits.

i don't actually have any interest in seeing this, but it's interesting that ice cube's pulled a val kilmer and taken over the starring role in someone else's franchise. ice cube just doesn't seem right as an action hero.

I quite liked xXx largely cos Ms Argento was in, Sam Jackson was fun and the action set pieces hit the mark. I usually hate Hollywood blockbuster action movies so this was a pleasant surprise. Not great but def. more enjoyable than Die Hard and its pap. Again - Ms Argento's presence assured that anyway.

Ice Cube is a totally rofflicious action hero. Didn't you see All About the Benjamins? I didn't see xXx the first, and I can only assume that it was dogshit, but there's no way you can keep me away from this one. Everything goes better with Ice Cube.

Ice Cube was on The Daily Show... two nights ago? Apparently for every film in the xXx franchise, there is supposed to be a brand new star. So, Samuel L, now Ice... who's next?
