New show on ABC sunday nights. Starring Patrick "Ronnie Express" Dempsey, Sandra Oh, Ellen Pompeo, some dude with bad teeth and couple other people. Its not too shabby. Patrick Dempsey amazingly still sounds like he is courting Cindy Mancini.

It seemed like an even crappier version of ER.

Leon Federline (Ex Leon), Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:53 (twenty years ago)

It lacks the saucy Prince George that House has.

Rufus 3000 (Mr Noodles), Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:54 (twenty years ago)

There should be an episode of ER where every actor plays a different character in the style of their regular character. If that makes sense.

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 May 2005 12:55 (twenty years ago)

yeah it doesn't have the house spunk but katherine heigl's in it so there's still spunk. there's plenty of spunk.

where the fuck is that james spader lawyer show??

OTM. boston legal is a treat. what the fuck, abc?

cutty (mcutt), Thursday, 5 May 2005 14:22 (twenty years ago)

Well, i think its pretty good. I hate ER. I think the only reason i like it is because im a Patrick Dempsey fan.

Chris 'The Nuts' V (Chris V), Thursday, 5 May 2005 14:24 (twenty years ago)

Much better than House, but that's not saying much. If they replaced the House staff with the Grey's Anatomy med students (keeping the pill-popping doc and the hospital chief), it might add up to one good show.

I don't care about the lives of doctors, lawyers, or cops.

Jeff-PTTL (Jeff), Thursday, 5 May 2005 17:52 (twenty years ago)

look, if I have to choose b/w candice bergen/James T. Kirk/Spader shouting a lot about the "law" or some smug late 20 something dumbasses having "fun" in medical school or brooding about their "relationships" then I'm going to pick FADED TV STARS OF THE GOLDEN AGE every time just because I don't like Sandra Oh.

kyle (akmonday), Thursday, 5 May 2005 17:55 (twenty years ago)

o come on milo how you gonna stab omar epps in the back like that?

j blount (papa la bas), Thursday, 5 May 2005 17:58 (twenty years ago)

the Omar Epps breaking and entering plotline of one of the episodes I caught was embarassing. "You picked me because my juvenile record had a B&E?!?!"

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Thursday, 5 May 2005 18:00 (twenty years ago)

i could watch james spader in that role for hours.. he is fucking hilarious!

cutty (mcutt), Thursday, 5 May 2005 18:14 (twenty years ago)

The best thing about Boston Legal is that hilarious-ass music. "Yow! UH-HUH!" etc.

slightly more subdued (kenan), Thursday, 5 May 2005 18:25 (twenty years ago)

I'm only tempted to watch this because of Sandra Oh. And maybe Kathryn Heigl.

Melissa W (Melissa W), Thursday, 5 May 2005 18:39 (twenty years ago)

big-eyed doctor/med student woman is hott as well

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Thursday, 5 May 2005 18:40 (twenty years ago)

everyone on this show walks around with a little smug smile like they are doing the most important thing in the world!!! oh I hate them!

kyle (akmonday), Thursday, 5 May 2005 18:47 (twenty years ago)

Aren't med school students actually like that?

surprised no one has tried a law-school show where a group of students fight crime/save innocent people/etc. in between relationships and summer internships.

milozauckerman (miloaukerman), Thursday, 5 May 2005 18:56 (twenty years ago)

i've thought about it.

cutty (mcutt), Thursday, 5 May 2005 19:00 (twenty years ago)
