Speaking of which, guess what amendment is being proposed YET AGAIN in the House of Representatives? It could actually pass this time.

And here's this lovely quote, care of Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham of California. A Republican, in case you were curious...

"Ask the men and women who stood on top of the Trade Center. Ask them and they will tell you: pass this amendment."

It's so refreshing to hear, once again, some verbose politician speaking on behalf of the victims of the worst terrorist disaster to ever happen on US soil. I'm quite sure that in those final seconds, as their world was literally collapsing, those desperate people were very concerned about flag desecration.

I can't wait to hear this whistlehead's apology to the victims' families.
