Just because. This time, I know I'm right!

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 29 July 2005 22:34 (nineteen years ago)

you are always wrong

RJG (RJG), Friday, 29 July 2005 22:39 (nineteen years ago)

Who the hell watches big brother and thinks as they watch.

"Orlaith is really nice/funny/clever/engaging"

Who?

Tell me who?

I DEMAND IT.

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Friday, 29 July 2005 22:45 (nineteen years ago)

Iam alwayswrong. blummin rubbish space bar.

Yes. But this time....

Just seen the live relay, Orlaith, Craig, Makosi have twigged Derek's obviously trying to use the 'diary room stayback' to his advantage. And his general twofacedness. He onlyhad two friends, Kemal and Eugene. Now one gone!

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 29 July 2005 22:49 (nineteen years ago)

I have finally watched Thursday's episode and I didn't find Craig's beahaviour all that horrifying at all! I am worried that I am sick (considering he was a bit drunk himself)! O let me not be sick! O!

Alba (Alba), Friday, 29 July 2005 23:14 (nineteen years ago)

you are sick

dahlin (dahlin), Friday, 29 July 2005 23:15 (nineteen years ago)

the only way this thread title will be correct is if this is the final thread.

jed_ (jed), Friday, 29 July 2005 23:27 (nineteen years ago)

I'm not usually prone to such cynicism*, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was fixed. A mysterious source tells me it was 56% Orlaith 44% Kemal according to their figures. And Big Brother wouldn't want to have only one girl in the house.

I'm off to polish my foil hat.

* may be a lie

Colonel Poo (Colonel Poo), Friday, 29 July 2005 23:28 (nineteen years ago)

orlaith and her stupid threatening to walk shite. just walk already then. grrrrr

dahlin (dahlin), Friday, 29 July 2005 23:29 (nineteen years ago)

they (digi spy) say she's confirmed with BB she's leaving at 10 tomorrow

The Jive Session (elwisty), Friday, 29 July 2005 23:55 (nineteen years ago)

if she doesn't go i will fuck a something.

Hari A$hur$t (Toaster), Saturday, 30 July 2005 00:04 (nineteen years ago)

yup it's seems she definetely going and is gonna try and convince Derek she was a mole.

The Jive Session (elwisty), Saturday, 30 July 2005 00:07 (nineteen years ago)

Orla leaving in 5 minutes. She's asked the others to tell Derek she was a mole - I don't think he'll believe that, given that he is the mole.

Kemal still shorter odds than Orla to win according to DS. Maybe they'll throw him back in whe Orla walks...

Onimo (GerryNemo), Saturday, 30 July 2005 08:29 (nineteen years ago)

True to her word, Orlaith has walked.

Derek, Kemal: punk'd!

David Merryweather Goes To Far (scarlet), Saturday, 30 July 2005 09:22 (nineteen years ago)

"Two words - whatever."

jed_ (jed), Saturday, 30 July 2005 09:47 (nineteen years ago)

I'm finding the report of that conversation v.hard to follow.

Alba (Alba), Saturday, 30 July 2005 09:51 (nineteen years ago)

i know what you mean.

jed_ (jed), Saturday, 30 July 2005 09:53 (nineteen years ago)

There are far too many pronouns ("you are this", "we are doing that" etc. where it's unclear who's being referred to). It's probably difficult writing up a conversation between four people, especially when it's about other people, but I think they could have tried a bit harder.

Alba (Alba), Saturday, 30 July 2005 09:58 (nineteen years ago)

Actually maybe it's more that the report covers two different time periods and the two aren't demarked clearly enough. Or maybe it's just that I haven't had my first cup of tea of the day yet.

Alba (Alba), Saturday, 30 July 2005 10:01 (nineteen years ago)

Do you remember being a little kid and we would be playing a game. Along would come the one child who couldn't play because they weren't old enough, or smart enough or fast enough so in a fit of pique they'd snatch the ball and run away? Well that's what we've seen here. Like them or not Science and Kemal played the game long and hard and were sacrificed to the likes of someone who wasn't prepared to play the game properly in the first place. She's taken the ball, thrown it in the canal and flounced home to watch The Tweenies.

So sez that columnist at DigitalSpy. Discuss.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Saturday, 30 July 2005 10:39 (nineteen years ago)

Actually, it seems most likely that, after having heard her name booed three weeks running, Orlaith realises that she's pretty much hated in the real world, and Channel 4 were basically trying to keep her in by a thread as much as possible for the past fortnight so that when she went in her final week we had some proper Becki/Tim style allout booing from the crowd.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Saturday, 30 July 2005 10:41 (nineteen years ago)

Pretty much hated, but winning the votes?

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 30 July 2005 10:45 (nineteen years ago)

You'd be hard pushed to claim that Science and Kemal's evictions were as a result of a groundswell of support for Orlaith.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Saturday, 30 July 2005 10:47 (nineteen years ago)

Why did the public evict Kemal, again?

Alba (Alba), Saturday, 30 July 2005 10:48 (nineteen years ago)

Kemal doesn't have breasts?

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Saturday, 30 July 2005 11:26 (nineteen years ago)

I wonder what Orlaith's breasts were like, pre-op. But not very often.

Alba (Alba), Saturday, 30 July 2005 11:28 (nineteen years ago)

Kemal should of staid. Ant is SOOOOOO fit. Derick 2 win.

Dadaismus (Dada), Saturday, 30 July 2005 11:32 (nineteen years ago)

That analogy fails on so many levels. For a start the ball is still in play isn't it?

The Jive Session (elwisty), Saturday, 30 July 2005 11:41 (nineteen years ago)

Not if "the ball" = Orlaith's implants

Alba (Alba), Saturday, 30 July 2005 11:45 (nineteen years ago)

The model rose early to make her final preparations, gathering together all of her belongings and getting dolled up for the exit. [...] "You guys tell them the reason why I'm leaving, that I was working for Big Brother," Orlaith told the trio, putting on her lipstick.

Dolled up? Lipstick? Sounds like she was expecting a proper exit and an interview and stuff. Haha! Dick.

JimD (JimD), Saturday, 30 July 2005 12:34 (nineteen years ago)

Well not really. There'll still be press there.

Alba (Alba), Saturday, 30 July 2005 12:38 (nineteen years ago)

There's something quite wonderful about walking away on your own terms right after claiming your second scalp of one of the choosen ones. It's a further twist of the knife to Kemal, who not only thought they had a god-given right to be there for the duration but would have sucked off a tramp in a skip if he thought it would have enabled him to win, but ended up squawking desperately "you ain't seen the last of me, bitches" over and over after bieng evicted.
Next morning his victor looks around, goes "You know what? Nah", and juzj-juzjes out of there.
"Fab'lous, babydoll" as someone once said. Forget who.

David Merryweather Goes To Far (scarlet), Saturday, 30 July 2005 13:23 (nineteen years ago)

"I gave it Orl to Calum "

BIG Brother's hottest babe went Orla way with hunky Calum in a staggering 48-HOUR sex session.

The gorgeous model was left exhausted by 24-year-old Calum's insatiable appetite for nookie, which ended a staggering ten-month sex drought for Orlaith.

Orlaith has not had nookie since she bonked Calum back in March and now she is on the look-out for a new fella to sate her lust.

The Jive Session (elwisty), Saturday, 30 July 2005 23:49 (nineteen years ago)

Calum Best was in Westlife?

jed_ (jed), Saturday, 30 July 2005 23:57 (nineteen years ago)

"sate her lust" - blimey. The NoW goes all Elizabethan on us.

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 31 July 2005 00:00 (nineteen years ago)

"had nookie"

jed_ (jed), Sunday, 31 July 2005 00:01 (nineteen years ago)

That naked picture is ridiculous, she must've done it within a couple of hours of leaving the house, she hasn't even changed her hair!

Cathy (Cathy), Sunday, 31 July 2005 00:06 (nineteen years ago)

A TEN-MONTH sex drought is STAGGERING?

It's nearly two years since I last got any. Grrr.

Forest Pines (ForestPines), Sunday, 31 July 2005 06:51 (nineteen years ago)

Calum Best was in Westlife?

Or NotW journalists are really bad at writing. Can you guess which it is?

(I think they mean (a) Calum shagged her and (b) Brian McFadden, formerly of Westlife and not averse to blonde birds with unfeasibly unrealistic breasts, tried to shag her as well)

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 31 July 2005 07:41 (nineteen years ago)

Ew, GROSS. Ed's little sis once dated an unsuitable man who allows CB to kip at his place when in London, so she knows him and says 'any girl who goes with Calum who doesn't know he's a ho finds out quick' or something along those lines.

Web Exclusive: New Housemate
Day 66, 04:15

We can exclusively reveal that there will be a new Housemate entering the Big Brother House, live on tonight's hour-long show from 9pm.

Davina will reveal the identity of the latest Housemate to join the Big Brother House as they bring the complement up to six, following the departure of Orlaith.

Housemates are bound to be stunned by the new arrival, who will be eligible to win Big Brother. They will also be able to nominate and be nominated for eviction by their fellow Housemates.

Make sure you tune in tonight to see the newcomer enter the House and catch the reactions of Anthony, Craig, Derek, Eugene and Makosi.

Mooro (Mooro), Sunday, 31 July 2005 08:57 (nineteen years ago)

Best messageboard in the world for added value for the term 'hunky Calum'.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 31 July 2005 09:11 (nineteen years ago)

Oh please make it Kinga. Or "I'm a do-er not a thinker and a late-night talker" Anne who nearly went into the BB2 house instead of Joshtoad.

j0e (j0e), Sunday, 31 July 2005 10:05 (nineteen years ago)

Ah yes, good old Anne.

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 31 July 2005 10:12 (nineteen years ago)

I really hope it's someone who is good enough to win it. None of the others deserve it really.

Penelope_111 (Penelope_111), Sunday, 31 July 2005 10:13 (nineteen years ago)

Anphoney won't even realise that there's somebody new in there for about three days.

j0e (j0e), Sunday, 31 July 2005 10:16 (nineteen years ago)

Thinking about it, I'm desperate for the new person to be a dishy bloke that Anphoney decides he fancies. Then we can all enjoy the spectacle of Craig (who is Jill from Nighty Night without the HRT) being cuckolded.

j0e (j0e), Sunday, 31 July 2005 10:21 (nineteen years ago)

jOe, you're an evil genius.

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 31 July 2005 10:31 (nineteen years ago)

I don't remember Anne. I hope they don't put in another moron.

Cathy (Cathy), Sunday, 31 July 2005 10:35 (nineteen years ago)

Spot my favourite aside in this report.

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 31 July 2005 11:05 (nineteen years ago)

mark G, Friday, 5 August 2005 14:57 (nineteen years ago)

Oh, and Stewart Os has been OTM throughout in my abs, without me reading most of it...

Mark G, Friday, 5 August 2005 15:05 (nineteen years ago)

Makosi has thought she'll win ever since the secret garden thing and Saskia's eviction. I can't see her winning. I can see her leaving before Craig, Anthony or Kinga though.

Mark you don't care, you just want to let us know you're in Spain, right? :)

beanz (beanz), Friday, 5 August 2005 15:10 (nineteen years ago)

awww jed. but how's her sunday roast?
hi tim! i've missed you!
omg no bblb because of CRICKET! grrrrr damn sport! foils me again!

phew. e4

dahlin (dahlin), Friday, 5 August 2005 15:34 (nineteen years ago)

Only saw last night's show on the afternoon repeat today. What was all that stuff about derek and the monkey? And "my hands have turned white since I've been in the house because of HARD WORK". What's going on with him?

JimD (JimD), Friday, 5 August 2005 17:01 (nineteen years ago)

He's a posh spaz, that's what.

coral/coral/coral, Friday, 5 August 2005 17:06 (nineteen years ago)

i am amazed - the thread title is right for once.

Forest Pines (ForestPines), Friday, 5 August 2005 20:04 (nineteen years ago)

I liked Derek

Googley Asearch (Toaster), Friday, 5 August 2005 20:06 (nineteen years ago)

i actually had to put the tv on mute during derek's lil speech.

Enrique, naked in an unfamiliar future where corporations run the world... (Enri, Friday, 5 August 2005 20:14 (nineteen years ago)

Davina's fawning so obsequiously.

AdrianB (AdrianB), Friday, 5 August 2005 20:21 (nineteen years ago)

I reckon Derek was booed noticeably less than any other housemate this series.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Friday, 5 August 2005 20:32 (nineteen years ago)

Eugene's tears at Derek's eviction was the most touching thing I have ever seen on BB!

I never liked Derek during his tenure, but thought he was remarkably good tonight.

Jerry the Nipper (Jerrynipper), Friday, 5 August 2005 20:33 (nineteen years ago)

Can any of you guys solve an argument for me? I don't think that the housemates were told about the bombings in London, but my friend thinks that they must have been. Can't seem to google it (too many hits for Big Brother and London bombings), so please help...

emil.y (emil.y), Friday, 5 August 2005 20:38 (nineteen years ago)

Davina is useless. I can't believe I use to masturbate over her as a nipster. She kind of negates the whole show for me; I want the housemates to be called out on their awfulness not celebrated for their hilarious antics, cos let's face it, none of them are in the least bit funny. I basically just don't want Craig's cuntishness to go unpunished.

coral/coral/coral, Friday, 5 August 2005 20:41 (nineteen years ago)

Although she did make a good point about the public hating all of the housemates, it's only really between Eugene and Anthony now isn't it?

coral/coral/coral, Friday, 5 August 2005 20:42 (nineteen years ago)

I remember them explicitly stating at one point that they had checked with the housemates' families and friends, who were all okay, and had decided not to tell them at that time. I've seen no hint since that they have been told.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 5 August 2005 20:44 (nineteen years ago)

They decided not to tell them until they got out. Science did an interview in New Nation which confirmed this.

suzy (suzy), Friday, 5 August 2005 20:44 (nineteen years ago)

yes, and while i agree with enrique about anthony being the one i could spend any time with without pulling my hair out, i think eugene should win.

ahahahaha thanks for that

dahlin (dahlin), Saturday, 6 August 2005 00:49 (nineteen years ago)

can you believe ch4 cut to an ad right then? they must be really scared of having the last few weeks of this series investigated by the ITC. especially after the kinga bottle-fucking complaints.

jed_ (jed), Saturday, 6 August 2005 00:55 (nineteen years ago)

Ooh ooh ooh, that was exciting! So did anything happen next?

I can't believe I use to masturbate over her as a nipster

Ah come on, course you can. She's still a right hottster, despite everything.

JimD (JimD), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:25 (nineteen years ago)

what did she do before bb?

dahlin (dahlin), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:27 (nineteen years ago)

That mid 90s late night gang dating show that I've forgotten the name of. I faniced her then too.

What happened next is this:

http://bigbrother.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds8461.html

ie not much really.

JimD (JimD), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:30 (nineteen years ago)

Ah, I remember the halcyon days of God's Gift at 2am on a Wednesday night...

Colonel Poo (Colonel Poo), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:30 (nineteen years ago)

God's gift! That's what it was called.

JimD (JimD), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:32 (nineteen years ago)

Indeed. I'm not proud. I was at uni at the time so being up at 2am watching shite on the telly was par for the course, but I was interested to see Davina's rise through the ranks through the late 90s!

Colonel Poo (Colonel Poo), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:35 (nineteen years ago)

Well, me too. Anyway, stop encouraging me. I'm trying to stop fancying Davina cos she's too similar to my ex and continuing to fancy my ex does me no good at all.

But still...sigh.

JimD (JimD), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:39 (nineteen years ago)

My friend's fiancee is the spitting image of her. Luckily I never actually had a crush on her!

Colonel Poo (Colonel Poo), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:44 (nineteen years ago)

If they ever split up, promise you'll introduce me. (Not to him).

JimD (JimD), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:50 (nineteen years ago)

They're getting married in September, but should that happen, I'll give you her number!

Colonel Poo (Colonel Poo), Saturday, 6 August 2005 01:53 (nineteen years ago)

Hooray. For once!

Mark g, Saturday, 6 August 2005 05:50 (nineteen years ago)

I was interested to see Davina's rise through the ranks through the late 90s!

Wasn't she on MTV in the early 90s? I'm sure I remember watching her there.

who the fuck watches big brother? shittest show ever! fucking little inbreds. what the hell is the point of it? "Yes! we get to watch doggy chicks get topless, alrite!" i mean seriously, get a life. and what kind of a sicko watches-"up-late" as if youd friggin bother. Watch family guy or south park, it's about a million times funnier. Rage Against the Machine rules. anyone who watches big brother is a deusch bag and needs to get a life and they probably still live with their mums at age 30. unemployed fucks.
