And yet he was giving the highest marks!
In the end there was only a four point spread between first and last (what's with the marks out of 10.0 with an unofficial 7.0 baseline anyway?) which is small considering the huge differences in quality.
I thought the show's production values were a bit crap, which I wouldn't normally care less about but that was bugging me here for some reason.

you'd think they would have found people with similar skating abilities, though. jillian said something along the lines of dorothy hamill being her hero when she skated as kid and up into her teens. that sounds like a good decade of skating to me. full house plays hockey too.
can you believe todd bridges did a "whatchoo talkin' 'bout"? that wasnt even his line!
anyway, much better than the dancing version for sure.

i think we're going to see more fireworks in future episodes. the programs were nice, but pedestrian, if not adult version of the exhibition routines i peddled as a child competitor.
i was thinking about this last night and in some ways, its more interesting to see professional figure skaters adapt to complete amateurs, especially if their skating resume does not include previous pairs experience. just speaking from my own personal experience but when i switched over from freestyle to ice dancing, it was a rough couple of months trying to adapt to skating with another person. i discovered my stroking was all wrong, i would constantly try to break away. a mess, yes, but i got through it.
aside from the technicall issues, there's the attitudes. man, you'd think after all the shit nancy kerrigan went through when calling disney "corny", she'd know to keep her comments to herself. she's still such a bitch. bleh.
but tai babilonia? still awesome.
