the mongrels don't want to play like that, they just want to talk to the sheepfuxors

I am totally using "oddly shaped wall" as a euphemism for people's bits.

Hi mongrels. What's the etiquette re: leading someone on that you know likes you when you're kind of on the fence? Is it wrong to suggest doing stuff together because you get along knowing they might want more?

edward o (edwardo), Tuesday, 24 January 2006 04:26 (twenty years ago)

Depends on if you think theres any chance of you becoming equally as interested in them. If theres no chance at all, then I'd say it's a bit mean.

-- edward o

Let me see if I uderstand you correctly. You're currently sitting on the fence about showing this person your oddly shaped wall?

ratty, Tuesday, 24 January 2006 04:33 (twenty years ago)

Yes, that's it exactly. The problem being that I'm a nice guy (YES REALLY) and I don't want to be all leading-onny.

edward o (edwardo), Tuesday, 24 January 2006 04:36 (twenty years ago)

You can lead a woman to the oddly shaped wall, but you can't make her drink. Sorry.

ratty, Tuesday, 24 January 2006 04:43 (twenty years ago)

Sigh no more, ladies, sigh nor more;
Men were deceivers ever;
One foot in sea and one on shore,
To one thing constant never;
Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny;
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into. Hey nonny, nonny.

Only sucky thing about coming home - forgetting about the Potatoes and Onions in one's pantry!

I'm real poor, but I'm up for a FAP soon.

Mike Stuchbery (Mike Stuchbery), Tuesday, 24 January 2006 05:06 (twenty years ago)

ewww potatoes and onions smell pretty bad when they go rotten, in fact I can't quite decide which stink is worse.

Potatoes are RANK when they go so off they create binjuice. Onions are just oniony and pervasive.

this just in: onions "oniony"

nein Socken, do you like Pseudo Echo?

edward o (edwardo), Tuesday, 24 January 2006 07:12 (twenty years ago)

no, i never cared much for them.

in jr high school, this one guy named dj used to argue that they were called ' the pseudo echo' and not just 'pseudo echo'.

what do you think?

nein Socken (nein Socken), Tuesday, 24 January 2006 07:36 (twenty years ago)

definitely no "the"

be careful what you wish for, your darks gods might kill you as a 'haha the trick's on you' way of sparing you from the weather, though maybe that's more something that leprechauns would do.

nein Socken does mean "no socks".
i do not choose socks.

i do not lack socks but i do not yearn for them.
i harbor no resentment towards the socked, those that choose socks.

for work reasons, estela. i just moved here sunday night. i'm staying at a hotel here with two other irish guys but it's on the company's bill and we should be moving into a house soon. v. quiet during the week here but apparently it gets a bit lively during the weekend and the uni is starting up here again soon.

melbournites, is there a FAPenning sat. week? i'd be on for that.

Michael B, Tuesday, 24 January 2006 08:16 (twenty years ago)

Theres an okay irish pub at the end of dean street, forget what it's acutally called.

Some of the cafes up the other end are okay too. If Cafe Gryphon is still there you should pay it a visit.

Conversely, on a sign in Wodonga:

Dunno. If it feels worse than ordinary household heartburn it might be worth getting checked out.

Stress can do it, but yeah get it checked - Nick and I have both had chest pains and while I reckoned his was smoking, he had an ECG and it was fine, stress can make the rib muscles spasm.
