I expect they will. Thanks, Bush!

I won't be voting, unfortunately, as I planned poorly, and am nowhere near my home state today, and didn't have time to do the absentee thing. Sorta bummed about it, actually.

The answer here is I'm telling myself NO in order to be pleasantly surprised if it does indeed happen. I have voted and have also been assured by family members who went R for the last election that they have joined me on the Dem side of the fence for a change. And this in the bluest district in all of America, so we shall see.

I said 'today,' benrique, that negates all the previous threads.

I just hope this doesn't turn into a 'careful what you wish for' kind of situation for you fine folks. Democrat control of Congress will most likely be a disaster.

7,000 lawyers were hired just to make sure the Republicans don't steal another election. And we're going to free another country with our great Democratic system. :-)

as Alexander Cockburn pointed out, the Dems have failed to promise ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING DIFFERENT in Iraq. or anywhere else, really. who the fuck voted for the torture bill and the Patriot Acts?

Dr Morbius (Dr Morbius), Tuesday, 7 November 2006 14:31 (nineteen years ago)

Are you surprised? Additionally, the 'anyone but Bush' attitude will likely make '08 a cakewalk for the Dems, for better or worse, but to what end?
