Does anyone care that Mogwai have a new record out? I saw it yesterday for £9.99, picked it up, put it back down again, thought "well, I never listened to the last one as much as I thought I would, so what's the point?" Middle-aged man in suit then picked up a copy and bought it after staring at it and HTTT for a loooong time. Can't remember if he bought HTTT as well. I imagine so.

Anyone heard the new Mogwai? (Are Jedi Mind Tricks featured on this? surely not!)

Think there might have been another from a bit earlier when it first hit p2ps, as well. But I haven't found that yet, so maybe not.

For my money it sounds very similar to Rock Action, but whereas that surprised me after their earlier stuff this one didn't, so I'm not too impressed. Maybe it'll grow on me like RA did, but I'm not sure it'll get the chance to.

(God, I wish I could write about music like you guys, and not trudge along with lame and dreary non-insights like the above. I could start a thread on how to do it properly and whether there's any chance I could learn, or I might just get flamed for trying to steal people's pitiful incomes when my heart's not in it or something...)
