This thread is a bit inspired by the threads about Scotland lately.
Anyway, Birmingham is the second biggest city in the UK. Yet, ithere haven't really been that many big acts to come out of the city
Sure you will always be able to mention several Birmingham acts (Duran Duran, ELO, Spencer Davis Group, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin), but when compared to the lists of acts to have come out of Manchester and Liverpool, both of which have a smaller population than Birmingham, the "tally" is hardly impressive. Any comments here?
