Scott Walker's The Electrican, strangely enough.

No shower stories, but last night me and a mate were driving along to Iron Maiden "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son", and not only could we both sing all the lyrics, we also airdrummed all the fills and hummed all the solos with ease. It was almost scary.

Siegbran (eofor), Thursday, 6 November 2003 13:38 (twenty-one years ago)

sounds dangerous, jonathan.

For some reason, I always end up singing a small and exclusive selection of Chet Baker songs, namely:

My Funny Valentine
The Thrill Is Gone
There Will Never Be Another You
Look For The Silver Lining

and
Blue Valentine (Tom Waits).

Dunno what it is abt water that makes me swoop right back to the fifties...

Alanis Morrisette - Ironic, because it was stuck in my head all yesterday.

Nick H, Thursday, 6 November 2003 13:42 (twenty-one years ago)

'Girl You Know It's True' by Milli Vanilli, 'It's A Shame' by Monie Love, 'Internet Curtains' by Denim and, most
memorably, 'The Whores Hustle and the Hustlers Whore' by PJ Harvey. When I got to the "NEEEEEEEEEEEWHEEEEEEEE" bit my flatmates shouted at me to shut the fuck up.

I generally shower at 7.30am with the radio tuned to FiveLive - thus it is too early and too unmusical to sing.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Thursday, 6 November 2003 13:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Probably Blu Cantrell tho I totally dispise the song, singer and... *featured artist* Sean Paul. URGH! I should have waited and used it as a toilet song.

I like the fact that you have a specific *shower song*.

Lara (Lara), Thursday, 6 November 2003 18:24 (twenty-one years ago)

This is kind of embarrassing given the subject matter, but I caught myself humming "Spread" (by Andre 3000) in the shower the other day.

Fat Freddy's Drop - Hope

I've been humming it (and drumming it) non-stop for about three days now. The bassline is just so catchy.

Old answers. I'm still practising to eventually take over Mercury Rev.
