Depends which charts you're talking about - the version that was a hit in Belgium was in Spanish (with poss a bit of French thrown in).

I want some country RGs please! - maybe by decade 40s - 00s would be a nice start. Also Dolly, Tammy, G. Jones? And a 'countrypolitan' one though I've no idea if this term even exists outside of a Dave Marsh book I read.

An idea I had for an RG or Top 100 - RG to blatant bandwagon jump cash-ins that were actually good! Somebody did this with disco bandwagon jumpers but every movement has its chancers...

"Countrypolitan" is just Chet Atkins/Billy Sherill Nashville sound. My Early-Mid 60s Nasvhile RG covers a buncha this stuff.

How about very local guides, to show the rest of the world. Like the aforementioned German Rare Groove. Other example: Rough Guide to Friesche Bries. Including Pigmeat, Lul, It Dockumer Lokaeltsje, Solbakken, Kobus Gaat Naar Appelscha, Trio Hell and other refreshing postpunk/eighties new wave bands from Friesland - a northern part of Holland.
