I'm, ah, making a comp cd... an introduction for a friend that I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE hasn't experienced heavenly et al.

Track listing suggestions please.

are these bands in some way related to Go Sailor? I always thought they were, but i can't figure out why.

I Luuurve Go Sailor.

They're sort of related in that Rose Melberg likes Talulaheavenlymarinetrap and one of her other bands, The Softies, covered a Talulah Gosh song. And they're all, you know, K kids.

I'm sure there's more incest there but I don't know what it is.

Backwash and The Decline and Fall of Heavenly are, by far, my favorites...and they might both fit on one CD, making things easy.

No dedicated thread for the band Heavenly that I could find, but they're doing their first U.S. show in 25 years, a one-off at Market Hotel in Brooklyn, June 1st of next year:
