These are not mp3s or anything, but there's so much music here. Sound quality is not great, but for the patient among you who would like to go beyond the Sublime Frequencies compilations (I think that needs to be my new spin), this is a good site.

Pick a region (West Middle North East) to see the list of artists. I'm not very familiar with khaleeji (er, Gulf State/Arabian Arabic stuff) music, and there's lots of it here.

One reason I created a separate thread for this, incidentally, is that I probably recognize less than half the names here, so it's much bigger than just my personal taste in Arabic music (or knowledge of it). The files are a little iffy at times though, I have to admit. They will work, but sometimes it takes more than one try.

I do recommend the contemporary Syrian singer, Al Aldik (spelled strangely) near the top of the "North" selection.
