What kind of 70's synthesizers did norman connors use to make this dreamy hit?

startrekman, do you actually make music? is it 80s inspired? are you a collector? do you have some sort of database of this stuff? aren't there other better synth based forums that have these kind of answers?

and back on the topic, i can't be fershure because i don't know about this kinda stuff, but if i had to guess, it'd be a rhodes and an arp

i just downloaded a bunch of Norman connor's tracks (because of the al jarreau thread). i'll probably pick up one of his albums next time i find one cheap.

i just got finished listening to Black Cow and i didn't know someone could make Steely Dan any smoother. after listening to it, i almost don't belive it was connors, but it's still good.

now i'm listening to The Creator Has a Master Plan. nice and smooth. it's funny how you can listen to a smooth jazz rendition of a song you really like and not totally cringe because you like the song so much.

Inviation was another great song of his.

that was my first post written in a noisy style. i feel...invigorated! surely, a green card cannot be far away now

i didn't even know there were green cards!

keyboard instruments used on the album: Electric Piano, String ARP, Harpsichord, Mini Moog. (not all on that song)

I believe on "You are my starship" Mr connors used

an ARP 2600
String Arp
Mini-moog
an acoustic piano.
