Whatever happened to Two Dollar Guitar?

Do spare me the obvious jokes: "It ran off with 50 cent sax!" and the like.

Anybody remember Tim Folijan? He put out some really nice singles, but I never could get into his albums. Where did he disappear to?

someone asked pretty much the same question a couple months ago, so I'll just cut-and-paste my response from this thread: Blue Riders (Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth), Fri. 2/25, Uncle Joe's, Jersey City, NJ

last I heard from Two Dollar Guitar was when I saw Tim Foljahn play a solo show about a year and a half ago. I talked to him a little and he said he was working on a new record, and his set was all new stuff (including one really good song with a recycled riff from a Train Songs instrumental). but then, it's been a year and a half and still no record, so who knows.

(if memory serves the Train Songs track I was referring to is "Cascade")

it kind of bums me out too, because the last full-length, Weak Beats And Lame-Ass Rhymes was really good, as was the Insound tour support EP from around that time, but it's been 5 years since that tour and very few shows and no more releases. I recall Tim saying that he had a day job, so maybe he just doesn't find the time to focus on music much, and given his low profile maybe not much motivation either.
