this is alarming though. Are there plans to add another hard disk backup? Or will all new threads from here on out disappear into the ether?

they don't disapper, you can get to them by going to the month they were started and ctrl+f'inding (I know you know that, just making it clear for everyone). I think this is something that Andrew and Noodles are sussing out, I'm sure they will ask for help if it's needed.

At this point in time there is not a heck of a lot I can do personally. I have faith Andrew will deal with it when he has some time on his hands.
