Heard about this board through a friend, I like some of what i've read. Very surprised and pleased to see someone name-check Entombed recently (wooo, I loved that band as a kid...LOVED!). And the chat here generally seems to interesting. Well, I'm sure i'll end up lowering the tone of the place and ruin all the high-falutin' talk with my uneducated parlance.
I DJ in Glasgow, Scotland (ok, i'm sure you all know where it is. but, y'know, just in case..) under the name Kid Twist. I run a weekly thing in a bar and write under music under various aliases. My first split 12" came out on the leeds based label C Side Trax in..um, May.

Did anyone go to sonar? My first time, tho not to barcelona itself. It cemented my desire to move there, Sonar itself was a fun cherry on top of the iced bun (christ!).
Well, anyway..I hope you are all well. This has been a strange and horrible day. Bombs in buses and tunnells has brought a natural shifting from hope to fear. I find myself thinking of B-Movie by Gil Scott-Heron and inwardly hoping it's "JUST" something like a gas explosion, power failure..etc. Anything to staive off that inevitable dread and sadness. But it comes and what are we to do? Again, to reference Mr Scott-Heron, even if we could have The Duke with us now it wouldn't do any good..in fact, that's possibly the last thing we need.
Wow, fuck me. What a bummer to end this post on. I will leave you with a little of what this board is dedicated to.

Jed, who lives in glasgow? Do you mean you do? It is late my man, perhaps i am not reading this correctly.
Tonight there's a party in town, a mate's moving house. However, I am tired. I'm staying in, making some good food and about to watch Jimmy Stewart in Mr Smith Goes to Washington. Hmmm...then back to work.
