i knew them from parallel lines because my mother was a big disco diva and knew "heart of glass" which she introduced to me but... eat to the beat was the big one. i still know every lyric and i even remember my mother allowing me to stay up late because they performed on this late night show "pink lady"... they did shayla from recognition... stunning.
it changed my life until i was given a copy of "non-stop erotic cabaret" by a friend of mine and then it was all over for me... a slippery slope to debauchery.

My heart belongs to Eat To The Beat, but I can definitely say that Parallel Lines sounds a little better each and every time I play it.

Blondie are playing in London in November - is it worth going to see them? Tickets seem to be around £30.

I don't see how this couldn't be Parallel Lines, really. Eat To The Beat has some great tracks on it, but Parallel Lines is their most complete album.
Having said that, it's very very very rare that I find myself listening to this band... not that I hate their music, of course, god no. It's more that I've hardly ever thought to myself "hmm... think I'll put a Blondie record on."

parallel lines is the most, ever. eat to the beat has atomic and dreaming. dreaming is free. i can't compare and contrast.
your hair is beautiful, btw. tonight. i've never met you, but i'll never forget you.

soooo much sex and sexy but her pleasure is a cup of tea; she'll sit by and watch the river flow. we're with her but she's building a road of gold. she's fading away and radiating. we're the "you" in the song but she's thinking about "him," whom she's never met but can't forget.
it's better that way, because she knows better. imagine something of your very own, something just like this, except this isn't yours. you can dream about her if you want; dreaming is free. she's dreaming about something else, you might as well too.

Parallel Lines has the better album cover.
The correct answer is Autoamerican:
