So you prefer this to the Cait version on the 1986 single? Con-tro-vers-ial.
My own list would go:
...but there's one Pogues track I'd give a great deal to hear. Around the time of Peace And Love, there was a newspaper article saying that the other Pogues were becoming increasingly frustrated with Shane for spending too much time on an (unfinished) 20-minute acid house track called something like "You've Got To Get Connected". Anyone?

I missed that version completely, although I see it's on the Sid and Nancy soundtrack. One more thing to track down. Although it's hard for me to imagine improving on the Trevor Horn production.

"Limerick Rake""Whiskey You're The Devil""Rake at the Gates of Hell""London You're a Lady""Sick Bed of Cuchulainn""White City""Sunny Side of the Street""Sayonara""Dark Streets of London""Fairytale of New York""Lullaby of London""NW3" (available on the Falconer demos-- this song is fucking great. Search it out, because it's easily in the top 10 of this list despite the poor sound quality. Also I can YSI it if anyone wants it.)

I read about that in Nick Kent's piece on the Pogues in The Dark Stuff, but I'm pretty sure that never leaked out. In fact, you can see Phil Chevron's amusing response about where to find it here.

If Shane had ever finished a lead vocal for NW3 it would have made it past anyone else's songwriting contribution, no contest. The fact is, he didn't, for reasons known only to himself. There is a good vocal on the Falconer Demo but the overall sound on those demos was not in the same class as the Hell's Ditch material - for which the backing track of NW3 was in fact recorded. If the demo had passed muster with the overall feel of Hell's Ditch, I feel sure we would have included it.
Shane has always had some revisionist pleasure out of demonising the rest of us for any number of perceived evils and slights. In fact, the majority of apparently egregious mysteries were of his own making, as was the case with NW3, which we all thought was one of his best ever songs.
