Is Disco D the hip hop producer the same as Disco D the ghetto-tech producer?

If so: awesome!

Yes he is:

His Arnold remix/video is hilarious.

And for some reason its not listed in his discography, but his beat for AZ's "City of Gods" is incredible.

Nina Sky beats good if somehow less brilliant.

For some reason its hilarious to me that he did the opening themes for "Friday Night Standup" on comedy central and the nickelodian kids choice awards.

the max glazer dancehall linkups piqued me interest - also not listed there of things wot he did is the (pretty good but a bit tainted now obv) gunclap riddim which slunk out in 04 sometime. (i recall deej u put up vybz's 'double down' which has now been redone as clipse feat vybz feat pusha t's godawful patois)

fave disco d bit by far: when the vocal/drum starts jagging up out of nowhere in the last 30 secs of 'ski mask way', it's super fucking exhilarating

(c/ref sitting thru all of jay-z's 'dear summer' just for the breakdown!)

Heh. I went to middle school with him, and he got teased all the time. I remember him getting beaten up once for refusing to admit that Gwar was the greatest band ever by Alex Goldman, who was a total metalhead at the time...

His new "Funk Flava" mix cd is awesome.

JS, what high school did you attend?

Back in '97 or '98 he was one of maybe two local artists on consignment who ever had to re-stock. We sold maybe one Stewart Francke box set for every 50 copies of Disco D.

Confounded (Confounded), Tuesday, 23 January 2007 22:31 (nineteen years ago)

three months pass...
y o y iz slsk free of disco d.

interested n his sense of dynamic BANG

he seemed to just be getting his hustle started when he ing went and oft himself. depression is a disease . . . In 2005, Disco D produced Y'all Ain't Ready, the first single from Britney Spears' then-husband Kevin Federline.[10] no wonder though. that trk was ill. k fed really dickfored it up though. i hate that bitch ass dude. folks are always misstepping and other folks watch and judge and pressure to do them dirty. so fucking what if dude wanted to make a buck-- even a sensible gal like britney couldn't see k-fed was a douche in 2003 or whatever. i cld just imagine those Nevermind-style pressures building up around him. the ski mask way trk wz so fucking ill. if i ever get dust again i'm gonna get dudes repretoir. drama drama drama
