Record Fairs - C or D?

I've been to a lot of record fairs, even worked some - but I'm about to go to one of my first that's NOT taking place in a 'cosmopolitan' city. It's here in Knoxville an admission is FREE. I buy old free jazz, old psych, old folk. Should I bother going?

Larger thread: are these ever as fun as they seem? I often feel so clausterphobic and uncomfortable i usually just get overwhlemed and don't buy anything (or, worse, make snap decisions and buy frivolous things I don't want at all). I think we can all agree that 'lists' are useless. How do you navigate? What are your personal rules? Good / bad experiences? What are record fairs like outside of Philadelphia, New York, Boston, SF, etc?

It's free, it'll be small, and you should be able to reel round all of it in 20 mins, presumably.
