I Used To Be Your Future Ex-Wife, described as the hottest band out of New York that hasn't been profiled by The Guardian on a Friday, is set to release its debut album, "Dolphin's French Fries" on May 30, on the Death By Firing Squid label (a subsidiary of Sony).
Coming off the sucess of the band's EP, "Come On Her Amish Face", I Used To Be Your Future Ex-Wife has developed a sizable following in the New York scene and on MySpace. One of the songs from the new album, "Thunder Flash Junior", has recieved positive feedback from MySpace users like *TehBellJar06*, who commented, "HAY GUYZ!!! THIS SONG REALLY RAWKZ! WHEN R U GONNA PLAY OREGOON???/?".
I Used To Be Your Future Ex-Wife will be playing at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago on July 29.
