There's also a third version on Very Friendly in the UK.

By the time the Reprise version came out, I had been listening to a cassette copy of my friends Japanese WEA import for months. I found the US track order to be ridiculously inferior, very arbitrary-seeming where the original version had possessed a bizarre but organic-seeming flow. Soon after, through a series of very odd circumstances, I wound up backstage at a show at Chicago's Metro where Boredoms were "supporting" Mudhoney and I took the opportunity to ask Yoshikawa why the order had been shuffled. His "rimited Engrish" made it hard to ascertain too many details of their reasoning, but he assured me that the sabotage was both totally self-inflicted and totally satisfactory to he and his fellow 'doms.

I agree in that there is very limited flow to the US version. Of course that's the only version I've heard. Apparently Bocabola was originally called Coca Cola on the previous version, but were forced to change it for the US release, not supsiding or anything, but hey, it happened.
