Sorry, I can't provide a link for this one. It was a poll by NME I think. Anyway it won't be long before you all find out more about this. But I for one do not agree with this. How about you?

We would eat ourselves, much as pop once did.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Friday, 2 June 2006 07:56 (nineteen years ago)

taste horrible, mind.

Pop Will Eat Himself would have been a great name.

The Zane page in NME made me laugh, sightly.

z: Pop will eat itself, sounds as good now as it ever did.
PRobinson: Well, I can't disagree there...

Still, I would say that PWEI were a better band than O-arses.

"shit = welcome, what would we do without it? just keep getting bigger..."

It's all very well for you to be pragmatic, sitting there all smug and self-satisfied with your fancy flush toilets and your new-fangled room deodorant sprays....

Stewart Osborne (Stewart Osborne), Friday, 2 June 2006 08:03 (nineteen years ago)

Oh it was all different back in 1966 mate.

Think of that Dream academy song, but add an outside bog.

mark grout (mark grout), Friday, 2 June 2006 08:07 (nineteen years ago)

Clint Mansell Out Of PWEI ended up doing the score for Requiem For A Dream, which is a far better album than any of those Oasis ones.

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Friday, 2 June 2006 08:12 (nineteen years ago)

".... but add an outside bog."

Would that be like when you used to get a free single or EP with an album, or should one of those be considered more like the equivalent of a garage or a garden shed?

Stewart Osborne (Stewart Osborne), Friday, 2 June 2006 08:29 (nineteen years ago)

What, you mean like Bogshed?

Marcello Carlin (nostudium), Friday, 2 June 2006 08:35 (nineteen years ago)
