New York, NY (AHN) - According to reports, Hollywood actor Robert De Niro is set to produce a biopic on rapper Missy Elliot with his company, Tribeca Films.

RTE News reports Universal Pictures has acquired the pitch for the movie from 'Take the Lead' screenwriter Dianne Houston.

There is no title for the film as of yet."

I just wanna know if this means, as an accompanying soundtrack, we'll FINALLY get a good Missy album - i.e. her long-overdue singles comp.
Inevitably, not - she'll go the Eminem/50 Cent route and do all new material.

she's putting out a greatest hits album later this year, but what the fuck, she's made good albums before, i can't even fathom why someone who thinks she's a good singles artists wouldn't at least enjoy her 2 or 3 best albums.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised at this point that anyone would prefer a greatest hits to her albums...I've heard her hits so many times at this point, those are the songs I most skip on her LPs.
