The Rich Kids' "Ghosts of Princes in Towers": C or D?

I really want to like this, but I'm having a hard time getting really excited about it. I think the problem has to do with the length of the tracks/the entire album. While they've got a decent handle on some of the better power-pop conventions, everything runs too long: they just don't know how to self-edit. Or, really, how to write great hooks. Should I give it more of a shot, or is not worth feeling up-and-down about for a while until I finally give in and not like it?
