Electronica, voyager

I'm on the verge of discovering electronic music. I can feel it in my bones, in the beats I write - even in the cool dampness of today's air, yearning for something besides a live band. ;P

I need recommendations. Mind you, I'm not interested in purely Aphex Twinish electronica. I really like that kind of thing, but I want stuff that retains some structure and melody. And if it's at all similar to Kate Bush or Bjork, well, that wouldn't hurt (yes, I know they aren't considered electronica).

Preferred previous exposure: Boards of Canada (me likey), Massive Attack (methinks me likey), Portishead (eh?...) Suggestions WELCOME
